No college records/achievement?[edit]

Sorry, but nothing on his collegiate achievements? Not even his 99-yard pass reception on November 16, 1991 (a screen pass, no less!)? He was Randy Moss without the ego - and, yes, he was a key part of an official NCAA National Championship team, well before a Pennington or a Leftwich (he did get the ball from a Peyton, however). This definitely needs to be part of the article... 147.70.242.40 00:59, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why was the "Timeless" nickname taken down?—Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.67.217.125 (talkcontribs)

  • Because it was unsourced, and a quick look through official sites with Troy Brown biographies turned up no reference to it. If it's to be added, it must be supported by a citation of a reliable source. 147.70.242.40 01:10, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why do u have years with patriots 1993-2006 it has not signed with another team and his coming back to the pats so change that right now —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.1.185.92 (talkcontribs)

  • (Please sign your posts with ~~~~) If you have a citation from a reliable source confirming that assertion, it can be added, but until it can be confirmed (keep in mind that the issue has been complicated by the Pats' acquiring Randy Moss). B.Wind 21:07, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • As of May 30, 2007, he is not part of the Patriots' roster,[1] nor has he signed with any other team after having offseason knee surgery. B.Wind 19:42, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Citation needed for the 2007 AFC Divisional Playoffs???[edit]

Why would a "citation" be needed from one of the most well publicized and watched strips of Browns career? Didn't people watch the game or read the news reports about it afterwards? Clip of Troy Brown ripping ball from Marlon McCree, "But matters took a fortuitous turn for the Patriots when Troy Brown stripped the ball from Chargers' free safety Marlon McCree, and Caldwell recovered at the San Diego 32" - The Providence Journal, "On the sideline after McCree made the catch at the Chargers' 31 and before Troy Brown stripped" - San Diego UNION-TRIBUNE

The strip isn't what needs a citation, it's the quote from Bruschi. The tag just has to go after a punctuation mark, so it happened to go there. Pats1 20:46, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, here you go: Tedy Bruschi "Troy had a quick mental switch, going from offensive player to defender." - Boston Globe
