University ratings[edit]

(I'm posting this to all articles on UK universities as so far discussion hasn't really taken off on Wikipedia:WikiProject Universities.)

There needs to be a broader convention about which university rankings to include in articles. Currently it seems most pages are listing primarily those that show the institution at its best (or worst in a few cases). See Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Universities#University ratings. Absolutely! This never ceases to amaze me. Talking about me, in the group of people that entirely consists of myself, I consistently rank number one!88.111.252.162 (talk) 10:23, 19 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Change of name?[edit]

I believe Roehampton University has now altered its name to the University of Roehampton. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PurpleFountains (talkcontribs) 10:36, 8 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you go onto their website... their logo is the same but it says University of Roehampton. PurpleFountains (talk) 18:52, 8 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've uploaded a revised logo to the information box. Headhitter (talk) 12:04, 2 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Alumni of the University of Roehampton[edit]

Captain Haddock, an alumnus of Roehampton University? Is this a joke? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.69.84.26 (talk) 14:38, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

NOT a member of Million+ or the ACU?[edit]

It seems odd that all trace of Roehampton has suddenly disappeared from both the websites of the ACU and Million+, no? They both left ghost member profiles, too. I'm wondering if anyone can shed any light on this before I go about removing references to either in the article -- MichiganCharms (talk) 12:29, 7 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Merger Discussion[edit]

Request received to merge articles: Digby Stuart College into University of Roehampton; dated: 6 June 2023‎. Proposer's Rationale: {not stated}. Discuss here. TSventon (talk) 22:19, 1 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Manannan67, please can you explain your rationale for the merger that you proposed. TSventon (talk) 22:24, 1 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Digby Stuart is the third of the constituent colleges of Roehampton. It doesn't have much on its own page, and inclusion would flesh out the history of Roehampton. (Keeping a list of people who happened to attend the Calligraphy school seems hardly worth it.) However since I removed the merge tag on the Roehampton page, (and overlooked the one here) I suppose I've reconsidered. Manannan67 (talk) 22:42, 1 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
