Copy of Svejk[edit]

This game looks to be a remake, base on The Good Soldier Svejk. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.63.181.155 (talk) 22:04, 2 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

{{doing}} Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs talk 17:53, 14 January 2020 (UTC) Overall, this is a pretty solid article. Some comments as follows:[reply]

  • General & Prose:
    • There's a general overuse of quotes throughout the article, but especially in the reception section. I don't think putting quotes around "thin" in the game's "thin" storytelling sells it as an opinion versus fact any more than having already prefaced the statement with the critic in question. It makes it harder to read.
    • I'm not really sure what the organization of the final part of the reception section is. It lurches from general sentiments of the game (which should go up top) and grab-bag criticisms.
      • On that note, you should summarize the critical consensus using the Metacritic scores.
  • References:
    • References all appear to be acceptable reliable sources.
    • Spot-checked statements attributed to current refs 1, 2, 3, 9, 23, and 37. Didn't spot issues with verification or close paraphrasing.
  • Media:

@David Fuchs: - Thanks for the review! I have fixed the issues you have raised. OceanHok (talk) 10:16, 26 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Some other minor things:
  • The official link comes up as dead, but appears to redirect to a new subdomain. Please fix.
  • His captor is the infamous Baron Von Dorf, a parody of Field Martial August von Mackensen, since this isn't directly citable to the game, it should really have a reference. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs talk 00:05, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I have removed the part about Von Dorf being a parody of some dude because it is trivial information anyway. I have updated the link. OceanHok (talk) 14:44, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Great. I'll take a final look tonight or tomorrow. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs talk 17:00, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
