1969 snooker match[edit]

The final of the 1969 World Snooker Championship is recorded as having taken place at "the Victoria Hall in London, England", but the article has the location redlinked to Victoria Hall, London, a page that doesn't exist. I've been trying to find out the actual venue and initally thought the only Victoria Hall in London was the one in Ealing, but a fellow editor has identified that the snooker match was almost certainly held in the Victoria Hall that is housed inside Victoria House on Southampton Row – please see discussion on talk page which includes a number of sources that seem to indicate that this is the case. Does anyone have any further insight that can help clarify this for us? Rodney Baggins (talk) 11:36, 29 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This source suggests the 1969 snooker match was held at "Victoria Halls, London", while this source suggests that "Victoria Halls" was at Bloomsbury Square. It appears that in the 1950s and 1960s the Bloomsbury Square location was referred to a "Victoria Halls". Best wishes. Dormskirk (talk) 12:23, 29 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
