Contestants section[edit]

I wanted to put in what the contestants strong games are in relation to WCG, but since not all games have been announced yet as of this date (5 have so far, the remainder are supposed to be announced in March 2009), it would not be worthwhile. For example, there are no sports or racing games listed as of yet, games that a couple players on the show have as their strong suit.

Also, I am putting in the info from the WCG official page... I'd put in the info that was listed on the actual SciFi broadcast, but that can't be retrieved at a later time to verify. Erpbridge (talk) 03:54, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Games[edit]

I thought NBA Live O9 was going to be one of the games? User:Wildwildnorth (talk) 12 March 2009 —Preceding undated comment added 17:09, 11 March 2009 (UTC).[reply]

Only 5 games of the 2009 WCG have been announced, back in February, on the WCG page. The remaining games will be announced in March. However, I don't see anywhere on the WCG Ultimate Gamer page (in External Links) that the games played on the show are the same being played at the tournament in China later this year. Contestant Table/Episode 2 Ranks[edit]

First, can someone please put the ranks for episode 2, I was unable to collect all of them. Secondly, I suggest that in the contestant table instead of "SAFE, WIN, etc." we put the ranks for that contestant in the episode. Your thoughts? Chastayo (talk) 14:06, 22 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Episodes?[edit]

Do you think we should put the info for each episode on the page? I mean in American Idol or other reality tv show, wikipedia doesnt. I don't think we need the results of each episode on the page FailureAtDeath (talk) 23:50, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Because the results of each episode are able to summarized very easily without much clutter, I think it's appropriate. 98.27.131.215 (talk) 22:36, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
If you look at the pages for shows like Survivor and The Amazing Race, you'll see that they include episode summaries. ThaPauly (talk) 09:58, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

How about a series summary first? I have no idea what this show is about from reading the article.96.231.16.93 (talk) 18:23, 26 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rule Change?[edit]

Why exactly did they prohibit someone from putting themselves up for elimination? If I had ever been able to be on that show that's exactly what I intended to do with any event I had the ability to win. Are they afraid it won't cause enough drama? What about honor among competitors? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.106.0.132 (talk) 15:13, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The highest ranking player gets to decide who the lowest ranking player competes against. If the highest ranking player puts him/herself in, where's the tension? Both times it happened the lowest ranking player lost. I like the change in season 2. The elimination challenges have been intense because the players put in are more likely matched. - Chavando (talk) 23:24, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
