Why are these "manhwa" and not "comic books"? Kappa 00:17, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I can tell they're illustrated by a Korean which would make them manhwa and they're authored by an English speaking person which would also make them OEM. Correct me if I'm wrong --Squilibob 10:11, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Little Question[edit]

Issues[edit]

I take issue with this comic series. It deviates from the original story line quite a bit. In the RTS game Warcraft 3, Arthas, as a Death Knight before he became the Lich King, lead the Scourge into Quel'thalas specifically to use the energies of the Sunwell to resurrect the Lich, Kel'thazad. There was no subversion or traitor involved. The scourge assaulted the elves head on, killed Sylvannas Windrunner, and tore down the gates of Silvermoon on their trek to the Sunwell. Once there, Kel'thazad was reborn as a Lich and the pure energies of the Sunwell were corrupted beyond use. Thus why the blood elves came to be. With most of their people killed by the scourge and their magic source ruined beyond repair, they had to adapt.

Dar'Khan did betray his own, but he was not guided by Arthas as this comic says. Arthas didn't have that kind of power at that point. The Lich King did, but he and Arthas didn't become one until much later.

The long and short of it is, its a decent story about dragons in Azeroth. And the art is pretty good. But the guy who wrote it needs to learn his Warcraft history if he's going to be writing anything else. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Samuraierick (talkcontribs) 08:19, 26 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Removed notability tag[edit]

This series of comics is part of a major gaming universe, but comprehensible on its own; has been published in multiple languages, including English; has been reviewed by recognized comics sources. Article is still a stub but I don't think there's a notability issue here. Feel free to discuss! :) --hamu♥hamu (TALK) 03:26, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
