Pro players[edit]

All Americans[edit]

There are a few W&J players who were named to various All American teams, but I am unable to find out much more about them, including their first names. They are: Patterson (1914), McReaghy (1916), Tressel (1918), Sterck (1918), Edwards (1925)

Trivia (removed)[edit]

  • The Red and Black adopted a poodle named "Shrontzie" to be their mascot, named after Clark Shrontz, who would later play pro football.[1]
