Scoreboard[edit]

The listed information about the scoreboard is out of date, as a new scoreboard was put in for the 2008 season. I would update, but I have no source other than firsthand knowledge. 128.36.45.204 (talk) 02:55, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yale Bowl And Events[edit]

The New Haven Register reported in 1983 that entertainer Michael Jackson had scheduled Yale Bowl for a tour stop but again, residents nearby were vocal in their opposition. The Bowl was the site for the opening ceremonies for the 1995 Special Olympics World Games. Legend goes that the steam shovel used to dig the Bowl could not escape the huge crater it had made, so it was buried under the playing field. Another legend goes that the restroom facilities are outside the stadium perimeter because they were added as an afterthought: Allegedly, the original architects neglected to include them in the Bowl's design. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.60.22.6 (talk) 20:47, 10 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
