Article is new enough, long enough, no major problems spotted. ALT1 hook is short enough and corroborated by the cited source. To make it even better, I would suggest adding the phrase "robber baron" (in quotes) before the man's name in the hook, and also put it in the article; it's in Korom's book. As long as you don't have any concerns about the quality of the Metropolitan Building (Minneapolis) article I'm fine with those suggestions. I've tweaked the hook and added two quotations to the lede of Menage's article supporting that characterization. Nsteffel (talk) 17:41, 8 September 2015 (UTC)

I would be fine with editing the hook to refer to it as the city's then-tallest skyscraper in lieu of first if that would satisfy the concerns raised. Nsteffel (talk) 14:12, 20 September 2015 (UTC)

That looks fine now. I added a year to the hook to clarify the "then". I might just give this article the once-over for WP:PARAPHRASE before re-promoting it. Gatoclass (talk) 07:23, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
