Zapiekanka[edit]

A typical zapiekanka served on a paper tray

  • ... that the Polish street food known as zapiekanka (pictured) has been described both as "Polish pizza" and "a poor relative of its distant Italian cousin"?

  • Note: I have an impression there's a bug in the DYKcheck tool. It tells me the article has not been expanded 5x within the past 10 days. However, I started the expansion on 10 May, that is, five days ago. The last version before that had only 488 characters of readable prose. The current version has 4307 characters. That's an almost ninefold expansion. — Kpalion(talk) 16:35, 15 May 2015 (UTC)
  • This five-fold expansion is new enough and is indeed long enough. The image is appropriately licensed and makes me feel hungry. The hook facts have inline citations but not all are online. The article is neutral and free from close paraphrasing, as far as I can see. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:57, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
