Move[edit]

Why did you move Portal:Magic: The Gathering to Portal: Magic The Gathering? The name of the game is Magic: The Gathering.StudiesWorld (talk) 10:32, 29 April 2014 (UTC)

It was originally without the second colon, so I moved it to Portal:Magic: The Gathering. However, there's a lot of templates that piggyback off of the original, and they didn't seem to want to move, so I need to figure out what I was doing wrong before moving it again. Did you move it back? — Preceding unsigned comment added by StudiesWorld (talkcontribs) 21:59, 1 May 2014 (UTC)

I moved it back to how it was when I first tried editing it (without the colon) until I can figure out how to fix the other templates to go along with the new name. Unfortunately, it'll be a few weeks before I have enough time to do big troubleshooting like that. Supernerd11 :D Firemind ^_^ Pokedex 01:01, 2 May 2014 (UTC)
Alright, I think I got it fixed now, along with all the little subtemplates. Supernerd11 :D Firemind ^_^ Pokedex 14:42, 5 May 2014 (UTC)

Graphics[edit]

Nice work updating graphics at User:Jimbo Wales, I've added your graphic on my own personal user page (see end). Cheeriooo, NorthAmerica1000 14:33, 2 May 2014 (UTC)

Cool, thanks! I stumbled upon it somewhere with the caption "The lasting effects of beauracracy" or something along those lines and thought it was really cool, so when I saw what you added to his userpage, I figured I could raise awareness for my personal favorite Wikipedia globe derivative! Supernerd11 :D Firemind ^_^ Pokedex 14:45, 2 May 2014 (UTC)
Perhaps the graphic ultimately symbolizes in some unlikely way Wikipedia's constantly and ever-changing paradigm? What's bureaucracy? Eh, whatever... (haha) NorthAmerica1000 14:58, 2 May 2014 (UTC)

Battle Bears Gold[edit]

Can you explain why you keep editing my edits? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Botchashimself (talkcontribs) 13:57, 7 May 2014 (UTC)

A lot of the stuff in there was more suitable for a game guide than for an encyclopedia article. Basically, Wikipedia pages for video games should have basic gameplay (objective, notable Easter eggs, etc; also setting and stuff along those lines), game information (platform, development process, etc), success (awards, sales, sequels, etc) and real-world influences (i.e. referenced on a major TV show or was the inspiration for another major video game). WP:GAMECRUFT and WP:GAMEGUIDE can help answer your questions more, as well. Supernerd11 :D Firemind ^_^ Pokedex 14:22, 7 May 2014 (UTC)

Form/Forme[edit]

Don't use the "forme" spelling when referring to generic alternate forms. It should only be used if it is a proper name like "Origin Forme", which is a "form" and a "Forme" but not a "forme". Besides, the artwork is Mega Kyogre but no one has a source for it.—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 12:44, 8 May 2014 (UTC)

Ah, alright. Thanks. Supernerd11 :D Firemind ^_^ Pokedex 14:44, 8 May 2014 (UTC)

South Bend, IN - name of the airport[edit]

A recent edit you made, here, showed an interest in the name of the airport which is located in South Bend, Indiana.

I wanted to draw your attention to a related discussion on the talk page at Talk:South Bend, Indiana#Name of the airport (which then redirects to a different discussion at Talk:South Bend Airport#2014 name change). --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 22:07, 9 May 2014 (UTC)

Oh, okay, I wasn't aware of the name change. I'll reword the caption of that one picture, and we'll see what happens from there! Supernerd11 :D Firemind ^_^ Pokedex 00:15, 10 May 2014 (UTC)

GAs and notability[edit]

Re: "I'll be back later to check the rest, but I seriously doubt that a GA should be merged into a list", I wanted to note that there isn't a check for notability in the GA criteria. Different conversations. And you might be interested in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bulbasaur (3rd nomination), which is a former featured article. czar  02:43, 15 May 2014 (UTC)

Oh, okay, I'll have to review the GA criteria a little better then. The Bulbasaur one's since been closed, but thanks for pointing that one out for me. Supernerd11 Firemind ^_^ Pokedex 11:20, 15 May 2014 (UTC)

Polandball project team[edit]

Just moving things here since I wanted to ask a question which wouldn't be open to everybody interested in Internet subculture. How comfortable would you be with myself and possibly User:Babelia performing edits to User:Supernerd11/Polandball? We could possibly jack some of the material at User:Babelia/Polandball if Babelia is OK with that. I didn't want to ask on that project page because, theoretically if you replied in the affirmative, any editor might take that as a green light to edit your subpage as though it's fair game. Also if you don't prefer your subpage to be edited by me and anyone else then no harm done, just thought I would ask. MezzoMezzo (talk) 04:15, 15 May 2014 (UTC)

Sure, I'm fine with anyone editing my subpages and I'd really like to see Polandball become an actual article. Like I said over on WP:NETPOP, I'll be off-and-on starting in late May/early June, so I might not be around to help for a while there (then once I get back from into space, I'll be fine :D). It should probably be a unanimous decision among the team to put it live to help make sure that it doesn't get deleted this time. Supernerd11 Firemind ^_^ Pokedex 11:29, 15 May 2014 (UTC)

Signature[edit]

Since I have been complaining about signatures, I also would like to complain about yours. It's just too much, it's been bothering me for a while now. I'm also complaining about your user page, which is also a mess. —TheDJ (talkcontribs) 06:56, 15 May 2014 (UTC)

Alright, changed my signature, is this one better? Supernerd11 Firemind ^_^ Pokedex 12:06, 15 May 2014 (UTC)
As for my userpage, it's mostly how I want it, although my screen resolution's a little weird, so the Wikistuff section's the best I could do. I won't change anything about it for now.

The Stub Barnstar[edit]

The Stub Barnstar
I thereby award you with The Stub Barnstar for expanding Dioctria atricapilla to a Start-class article. Armbrust The Homunculus 12:58, 27 May 2014 (UTC)

Regarding your edits on Eevee[edit]

Hi, I just now saw these edits, and wanted to let you know why they are for the most part incorrect, and I have reverted most of it(while keeping some, and improving upon it). One of Wikipedia's core policies(read: not a guideline, a policy) is Wikipedia:Verifiability, which says that information must be attributed to reliable sources. The problem with your edits were that the sources were not reliable. Fansites like Psypokes and Serebii, guides which are written by users similar to a Wiki, and the such, are not considered reliable. For a list of reliable sources to be used for videogame subjects, see WP:VG/RS. I do hope to continue to see you improving articles on Pokemon! Thanks, Blake (Talk·Edits) 19:45, 30 May 2014 (UTC)

Whoops, okay, thanks for taking care of that. Not sure how I never knew about WP:VG/RS, thanks also for directing me there! Supernerd11 Firemind ^_^ Pokedex 01:05, 31 May 2014 (UTC)

2048 (video game) page[edit]

Hi Supernerd11! You recently sent me a message telling me you edited a few of my edits on the 2048 (Video Game) page. I have two questions:

1. What were some of the mistakes I had made?

2. How can you tell when other people have edited a page and who they are?

I hope you can respond to this message!

Sincerely,

Anonymous... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.172.102.150 (talk) 06:24, 15 June 2014 (UTC)

1. We've got a policy about keeping articles as having a neutral point of view, so unless there a sourced statement from a reliable source, adjectives like "awesome" should usually be avoided.
2. There's a tab at the top of every page that says "View history". Click that, and you can see a list of all the edits made to that page (as of the time of this writing, there are 323 edits to 2048 (video game)) complete with date & time, usernames/IP addresses, size of the article, and edit summaries.
If you've still got any questions, feel free to come back here! Supernerd11 Firemind ^_^ Pokedex 18:58, 16 June 2014 (UTC)
