Don't know what's going on I'm getting an edit denied because "Editing from 89.187.176.0/20 has been blocked (disabled) by ‪TonyBallioni‬", however my IP isn't in that block. (The block should be89.187.176.0 - 89.187.191.255)

I've no idea what the previous decline is on about. It's quite clear from the edit history what my ip is and it matches this page. It matches my signature which I've put in with ~~~~ I am quite clearly no using a VPN or proxy, else wikipedia would not be expanding my signature to this IP address or putting that in the edit history. The fact that I'm getting a block on some other range indicates something is screwed up somewhere, fine if you can't help but don't deline the request without even doing the slightest bit of looking, like the edit history which shows which IP address added this comment

Request reason:

I do not know how I can state this more clearly. I have nothing to do with Data Camp. I am NOT using a VPN, this is virgin media and large UK ISP. My IP is quite clearly listed in my signature and in the edit history of this talk page. In fact I can edit this page, which I could not do if I was using the range which is blocked. Something is fucked up somewhere. That's why I am asking for helped, not to be patronised about the fact that the message doesn't match my IP, something I stated in the first unblock request. I know this. I know I am not using a VPN. I know my IP address matches my signature, I know my IP address appears in the edit history of this page. I know if I was in that range, I could not edit this page. Something is broken.

Wikipedia cannot be "broken" in such a way. This address is not blocked, you are posting a completely different one. Would we say this if it was not true? We've pretty much given you all the help we can. 331dot (talk) 21:28, 4 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yesterday, you were able to make this edit but you are not able to edit that article or any other now? I do not see any problem from a checkuser perspective. You've had this IP for more than a year and all looks normal. Is this a laptop or a desktop machine? If a laptop, did you carry it elsewhere and connect via a different network? Does the problem persist if you try a different browser?

- I was just about to suggest that you clear your cookies; editing from a blocked range can result in a block that carries over via cookies to another, non-blocked IP. Berean Hunter's suggestion of editing from a different browser could work as well (assuming that you weren't also editing from that browser on the blocked range).
