Welcome![edit]

Hello, Aadit kumar misir, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to The Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need personal help ask me on my talk page, or ask a question on your talk page. Again, welcome.  Uanfala (talk) 10:45, 29 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

July 2022[edit]

Hello, I'm Hey man im josh. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Tarua, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Hey man im josh (talk) 14:53, 29 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

August 2022[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at Kajari, you may be blocked from editing. Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 18:00, 1 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by inserting unpublished information or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at Alta (dye). In addition to complying with WP:V policy, please refrain from using misleading edit summaries. Note that the "minor" flag is reserved for actual minor changes, such as a spelling correction. It should not be used when adding substantial new content to any Wikipedia article. [1] Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 18:37, 1 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Discretionary sanctions alert[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and/or Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Regards, Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 18:46, 1 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

August 2022[edit]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 2 weeks for continued disruption, incl. persistent addition of poorly sourced content. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 18:35, 2 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Aadit kumar misir. Please note that Wikipedia is a collaborative environment, and as such communication is required. Editors are expected to make a good faith effort to respond and discuss concerns as they arise, which is not happening here. It appears that you are continuing to mark all edits as minor. See Help:Minor edit on when and how this flag should be applied. The greater concern is that you are continuing to add unsourced content, or original research which is not validated by the references cited within the article. Please address the concerns posted thus far on your talk page prior to the resumption of modifying any Wikipedia articles. Regards, Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 18:40, 2 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Aadit kumar misir! I noticed that you recently marked six edits as minor at Varanasi that were not; they added citations to sources. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. -- Toddy1 (talk) 09:08, 18 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Chhath into Varanasi. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 22:22, 18 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for August 24[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Bhojpuri region, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Bhojpur, Gandaki and Mau. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:23, 24 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm HistoryofIran. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Indo-Iranian languages, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. HistoryofIran (talk) 21:24, 24 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, you may be blocked from editing. Gotitbro (talk) 07:09, 26 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You have added content either content without sources, sources which do not support it or synthesization of sources; none of which is acceptable here at enwiki. A lot of your edits fall under WP:POVPUSH or WP:OR for which you have already been blocked. Editors have tried to explain the reasons of their reverts to you, tried to incorporate concerns at the Talk pages where you have been WP:UNRESPONSIVE; if you continue with this WP:BATTLEGROUND and WP:EDITWARRING mentality then a long term block is staring at you. Address concerns raised at Talk pages and do not hoax citations. Gotitbro (talk) 07:50, 26 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
