Vojnomir[edit]

Živjo,

predlagam, da ob priliki preveriš tale članek: Vojnomir. Gre morda za isto osebo, kot je bil karniolski Vojnomir, in različne interpretacije? --Jalen (talk) 11:18, 11 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please note that duke Vojnomir from Slavonia is a very uncertain personality, too. It may well be true that they are the same person, but we do not know that for sure. Because of this gray area we can not join both articles together. Centuries later one duke Vojnomir was really mentioned by Chronicle of the Priest of Dioclea (12th century) as the third known ruler of Slavonia, so the page of croatian ruler is justified. But an old frankish source does not mention who is commander Wonomirus (he could be istrian, carniolian or even friulian Slav)- so this is a problem of ballancing the article of croatian Vojnomir, not of this article. -- Bostjan46 (talk) 15:41, 17 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
