Request reason:

Per WP:SOCKPUPPET, I have finally decided to make things clear on my feelings. To everyone on Wikipedia, I want to say I was wrong for my heinous action of sockpuppetry. I do not want to violate these type of rules again. I just want to make clean articles and clear discussions. If I could take it all back, then lie and say "I didn't do it", I wouldn't be clear about this. I told myself to never let this happen not only on Wikipedia but also to myself nor my account again. I am only one person. I just didn't know what I was doing and felt that it was fun, but now, I have finally gotten the time to tell you that sockpuppeting or compromising someone's accounts is no fun at all nor is it any normal. Yes, I have messed up instantly. I am so wrong to this day. I just want to do pages about entertainment and nature, not creating a dozen account under my name at the same time. What is wrong with me? What am I doing? This time, I request an unblock once and only one time. I have finally learned my lessons and all of the wrongdoings I did and the mess I had to clean up.DBrown SPS (talk) 08:01, 13 September 2018 (UTC)

Decline reason:

Very compelling, but I cannot unblock you at this time. My advice would be to try again in November. At that time, list all accounts and IP's you have used and describe in detail what edits you would make. If there were problematic edits leading to your block, you will need to discuss those as well.

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I know I shouldn't do this again, but if I shouldn't have never caused continued collateral damage as a sockmaster nor sockpuppet on Wikipedia, I should have never caused this mess in the first place. Yes, I had used the IP address 66.189.238.90 unsigned as myself to play myself and made myself a sockpuppet. I even used the same IP addresses for the AFDs (namely The Beat Bully, Cardiak, Syk Sense, Famous Dex, etc.). Now here comes the worst, I even created BJPlaya10, which was supposed to be my younger brother's account, but it ended up being my account for myself instead of my brother. Now, I used both accounts for another AFD (Young Pappy), and edited Lil Durk and Kendrick Lamar. That wasn't teamwork, that was a set of problematic edits. So that would be one only reason why BHillJr was created and had the same fate. Now, here I am using DBrown_SPS and BJPlaya10 to fight over an R&B artist and the Weinstein effect. This is another problematic edit that got both account blocked in the first place.

I know you won't accept my confession, but it is still my fault either way. The BJPlaya10 and BHillJr accounts were meant for my brother, but I ended up using those usernames for myself, and for that, I was wrong. Sockpuppets are not fun at all. It just causes a lot of trouble. I don't know what else to say. My negativity is not the best of all Wikipedians. If I could tell my brother I was wrong for using the two accounts that were meant for him, I would get him to believe me now that I realized. Thank you Bbb23 and Dlohcierekim for teaching me how to make the right choice even if that didn't work.

Yes, this unblock request is unnecessary, so move on if you have to. All the madness I caused, it was me. DBrown SPS (talk) 19:01, 12 November 2018 (UTC)

Decline reason:

You posted a similar apology in September but created a new sock puppet (BHillJr) in October 2018. The standard offer seems like your best chance to be unblocked now. This asks that you go without sock puppetry for six months. That would mean six months from the last time you were blocked, which is now April 2019. So, don't create any new accounts, don't edit while logged out, and basically just stop editing English Wikipedia entirely. You can still edit Simple English Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons, Wikidata, and other sister projects. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 14:03, 13 November 2018 (UTC)

As far as I can tell, you still have access to your talk page, so you can make an unblock request here. I'd prefer that you did that here so other admins have a chance to respond. By the way, we all make mistakes, so try not to get discouraged. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 16:33, 29 June 2019 (UTC)

Request reason:

I have to tell the truth and nothing but... so help me God! I was the one who created BJPlaya10 and BHillJr in between 2017-18. I admit that I did create both accounts as sockpuppets of this one, and I have wrongly accused my brother of creating those accounts, which was not a smart thing to do. The truth is that I created the two because I wanted to have them as my alternate accounts, but I didn't have any time to insert certain user page templates that comply with WP:Alternate account. When I did add the alternate account template on BHillJr as linked to BJPlaya10, it was already too late. As for the disruptive edits, I did made and revert them using both DBrown_SPS and BJPlaya10 without knowledge, which is why I am blocked on Wikipedia. Another factor to that is that I never add sources to my edits to prove it. I was aware that creating multiple accounts without making them alternate still makes me a sockpuppet or sock-master. I realized my wrongdoings and I have learned from my past mistakes. I apologize for my wrongs and hopefully, you all can understand. I'm sorry to everyone on Wikipedia for my sockpuppetry and for not telling the truth. I haven't used this username for three years since I have been blocked. I am here to give out my mea culpa for all of this. Once again, I'm so sorry. DBrown SPS (talk) 06:11, 23 December 2021 (UTC)

Checkuser data shows no evidence of block evasion. This should count in favour and means any admin is free to accept or decline the unblock request (checkuser restriction is lifted). --Yamla (talk) 10:27, 23 December 2021 (UTC)

@Daniel Case: Thanks, Daniel. You too. Should I remove the sockpuppetry template from my user page now?

I have just recently edited a page involving record and movie exec. Lance "Un" Rivera and I might have messed up the whole article bit by bit. Can somebody review this page and see what is wrong with it? Thanks per request. Darrion "Beans" Brown 🙂 (my talk page / my sandbox) 00:12, 6 February 2022 (UTC)

Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums

Hi, this edit doesn't resolve the issue. You just updated the URL, which isn't the problem. The link works fine but the material from the link fails to verify the statement being made. Thanks. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 01:14, 10 February 2022 (UTC)

@Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars: I accidentally removed the failed verification template without noticing it. That's all. Darrion "Beans" Brown 🙂 (my talk page / my sandbox) 02:12, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
Thanks. All good then. I've been doing some clean up of your recent merges, too, by the way. I hope you don't mind. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 17:02, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
@Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars: Thanks for the help. I could never repay you enough. Ss112 reminded me to clean up my own mess next time. Darrion "Beans" Brown 🙂 (my talk page / my sandbox) 17:44, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
