Fish camp[edit]

Hi Jakebathman. It's not appropriate to take an existing disambiguation page and turn it into another article, as you've done on Fish Camp. If you feel that another article is appropriate, then you would need to create, for example, Fish Camp (Texas A&M tradition), and link to that from the disambiguation page. However, I strongly caution you against that. There is not much information on Fish Camp in reliable sources that isn't already included in the Traditions of Texas A&M University page. It is highly likely that such an article would be deleted/merged back into traditions anyway. I'm going to restore the disambiguation page right now. Before moving your content to a new page (like Fish Camp (Texas A&M tradition)), I encourage you to start a conversation at WikiProject Texas A&M or on the traditions talk page to see if others familiar with the topic think there ought to be a separate article. I have posted on the talk page my intention to create a full article, and I'm working on it on my user page instead of on a new Fish Camp page. The point of the article is not advertising at all - it is a university sponsored organization... that is NOT open to the public- the point of the article is the discuss its rich and interesting history, purpose on campus, the importance of the building as the only GREEN building in the area- and let jewish students who wish to attend UCSB what their jewish community has to offer... AsiaPay Speedy deleted[edit]

I would like to write an article for AsiaPay as simply as below:

"AsiaPay Limited is an online payment service provider, strives to electronic payment processing solutions and services to banks, corporate, SMEs, charities and others in Asia market for credit card, debit card and other prepaid card payments. AsiaPay serves as accredited TPP processor and payment gateway solution vendor for banks, certified IPSP^[1] for merchants, certified international 3D-Secure vendor for Visa^[2], MasterCard ^[3]and JCB^[4]. Headquartered in Hong Kong, AsiaPay operates 5 other offices across Asia including Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, Macau and China."

Articles on Wikipedia must be encyclopedic in nature. This means meeting notability standards as well as verifiable third party sources. Please also see What Wikipedia is not for more information about what types of articles are proper for Wikipedia. DefySupply[edit]

The DefySupply page has been a candidate for Speedy Deletion quite recently. The article itself not only has reliability and sources from Yahoo and other media outlets, but it can also "stand-alone" as there is no original research necessary to extract content.

Since the page was deleted before I could cite any verifiable third party sources, you were unable to see the three references that I was including into the article.

At first glance, the article seems like an advertisement. However, the goal of the article is to illustrate DefySupply's unique objective within the E-commerce world.

If the beginnings of the article look like advertising, try forming the entire article first in your user space (such as at ReidTiffany/DefySupply) and once it's completed move it to the main space. Project IMUSE[edit]

I didn't do the speedy deletion as you had tagged, but I could have; this was a judgment call. Basically, I speedy articles for spam if, based on past reactions of creators of similar articles, I suspect that the creator won't care about Wikipedia's distaste for promotionalism. I thought the student who created this IMUSE article might be more receptive (and at least he left a message ... in the article!) I've prodded the article and I let the creator know that he's on a deadline to come up with reliable sources establishing notability. So where is it[edit]

That tag states, "This article is about a place, but does not specify the country, city or region where it is located." This is an organization at a University, not a place. Reading further into the article does tell you the location of the group, but it's not the main point. My point is that the whereisit tag was never appropriate. The article was already marked for cleanup and the author was working to add additional information and bring it up to standards. We don't need to add massive amounts of tags during this time, especially ones like whereisit that do not apply to the article.
