BC/BCE[edit]

Hi there Jvcdude. Just letting you know why I reverted your unexplained edit to List of dates predicted for apocalyptic events, where you changed the era style from BCE/CE to BC/AD. WP:BCE states "Do not change the established era style in an article unless there are reasons specific to its content. Seek consensus on the talk page before making the change."

Generally the policy of using BC or BCE is the same as the policy on using American or British english - neutral articles (that are not about a british or american subject, or is this case, a Christian or secular subject ) will simply use whichever style was used first, otherwise we would have constant edit wars. BCE/CE was in use when I first started editing this article, so that's what I revert back to. I understand many of the predictions in the article are based on interpretations of the bible, however, not all of them are. This is not an article about Christianity per se, unlike the article Unfulfilled Christian religious predictions, where I would personally recommend the BC/AD era is used. Have a nice day. Thanks for uploading File:Denny Sanford Premier Center Rendering.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 21:41, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits on Ford Motor Company[edit]

Hello. I reverted your addition of the full company mail address on Ford Motor Company for being unnecessarily detailed. The infobox template says "location_city", not "snail_mail_address", so all that is needed, and wanted, is the name (with link) of the city and state where the head office is located. Thomas.W talk 14:34, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted two of your edits to How I Met Your Mother; please see my edit summary for why. Cyphoidbomb also reverted two of your edits to The Big Bang Theory for the same reason. If you have any questions, leave me a message on my talk page. Bilorv (Talk)(Contribs) 20:58, 19 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Jvcdude, in case you didn't previously know that you can click on an article's edit history to review our reasons for reverting your edit, the explanation is this: though obviously your intentions were good, they are not consistent with the Location parameter description at Template:Infobox television, which states "Production location, i.e. where the show is/was shot. Leave blank if same as country of origin above." Hope that helps, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 21:23, 19 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, in this edit you removed part of an image caption, leaving the phrase "does not include" with nothing after it. I'm fairly certain that's not what you meant to do, so I went ahead and reverted it. Cheers. --Richard Yin (talk) 04:23, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

South Dakota State Capitol[edit]

Thanks for your message on my talk page. There were a few issues which I should have added to the edit summary. You added an infobox not used anymore. It should have been a Template:Infobox building, and the Template:Infobox NRHP could have been added to it. There's an example on the "Infobox building" article. Also, if you have a Visitor's Guide, just source it. Or, look here. Thanks. Magnolia677 (talk) 02:52, 11 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. NASCAR series titles[edit]

Just an FYI, but for series names (like Sprint/Nextel Cup), we don't change it to the current ones for drivers that never compete under that banner. For example, at Kerry Earnhardt, he never ran under the Sprint Cup banner, but he last did when it was known as the Nextel Cup Series, so we keep it as Nextel. Same goes for the Xfinity/Nationwide Series and for team and track names. Zappa24Mati 00:34, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
