Confused about citing newspaper page number[edit]

Experienced editors, please...

I need help citing a page from The Boston Globe. Today I cited [1] "page = 1" of the Globe, but the article wasn't from the front page of the whole newspaper it was Page 1 of the ARTS/FILMS section of the paper from June 30, 1984. The archive file that I retrieved contains the full article, but doesn't specify what page of the whole paper. It specifies only the page within that section of the paper. What to do in this case? Musikeditor (talk) 13:52, 11 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I looked up the template and found that one can use an "at" parameter instead of "page": diff. How does that look to you? I've also seen it done with a pipe, like this: Boston Globe|Arts/Films (but more so when linking to the archive online). Yngvadottir (talk) 16:39, 11 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, that solution looks right. Thanks so much for the help. Musikeditor (talk) 01:52, 12 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

How to add geolocation info to an article[edit]

I'm still, very gradually, shaping up The_Rathskeller. I'd like to learn how to add location coordinates to an article. But I don't know where to search.

Experienced editors, please...

Do you want to know how to add them to an article or how to obtain them from a map (eg. Google Maps)?
Let me know if you need help with the latter. To add coordinates to the top of an article use {{Coord}}, or to add it to your article above you can use the coordinates parameter of {{Infobox venue}}. Instrctions for each are at those links, but the most useful one would be the first one, Coord. -- Patchy1 REF THIS BLP 07:08, 1 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, great. It took me about an hour, but I think I set it up exactly right. The location is definitely correct. Thanks so much, Patchy1! Musikeditor (talk) 15:47, 1 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Just checked the article, looks good! -- Patchy1 REF THIS BLP 08:13, 2 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please Weigh In[edit]

Talk:The Rathskeller

The article is so wrong (for Wikipedia) that it's ridiculous. Let's rewrite it. I'm seriously embarrassed. xx JSFarman (talk) 00:54, 24 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
