Lady G[edit]

Nice to meet another Reggae fan! Stay in touch!  SmokeyTheCat  •TALK• 10:23, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there! :) #29 (talk) 10:57, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

They're trying to delete the List of hip hop rivalries[edit]

At search, type in WP:AFD if you want to speak up about it. It's in the July 6 batch. Good luck. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mandsford (talkcontribs)

Meh, as much as I like rap I think this list's gotta go. Sorry if you invested time in writing it. :/ #29 (talk) 07:12, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt since the edit rate is not absurdly high. Pascal.Tesson 21:08, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Request handled by: Pascal.Tesson 21:08, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your rate of edits would indicate otherwise. Please read WP:B and explain what you were doing, and how you were doing it. Sandstein 16:40, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No need to read that. I avoided redirects, for example for jazz music to jazz by checking "what links here" on jazz music, opening some tabs in Firefox and then editing the respective article to make the link either "jazz music" or "jazz" where "music" was redundant. Come on, check the articles I have created. Common sense, please. #29 (talk) 17:58, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Same as with the nationalities. Compare some of my edits (not only the edit summary), that couldn't even be done by a bot without destroying the context, as far as I know (with my zero knowlegde of bot coding). Cheers, #29 (talk) 18:03, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for unblocking me. Still, the "benefit of doubt" doesn't satisfy me. I've explained how I did that stuff, and I get belittled like that. I'm not gonna waste my time on things like that anymore and instead of a "thank you" I get blocked. If a bot can do it, alright, have fun coding it. #29 (talk) 20:32, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reggae Geel[edit]

Hi,

I'm from Geel, Belgium ;-)

Basis source for Reggae Geel is ofcourse their website: www.reggaegeel.com.

You also might want to try: www.stubru.be www.standaard.be (at least one article, but you might need a subscription) www.laatstenieuws.be

And ofcourse google ;-)

I'm not really a Reggae-fan myself, but the uncle and aunt of my wife are one of the main organizers of Reggae Geel and I help out over there every year, now for almost 15 years I think.

good luck with the article!

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Gravé dans la roche.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Gravé dans la roche.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:36, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Nummer29! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 938 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Spezializtz - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Denyo - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notice

The article Dendemann has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced.
