Deletion of Gabriel Brown (actor)

Brownray8309 (talk) 21:14, 29 April 2015 (UTC) Hello, SecretName101. Is there any way to un-delete the "Gabriel Brown (actor)" page that you created on 08:54, 2 January 2015 (UTC)? Valley2city deleted it on 02:45, 2 April 2015, and I don't have a copy. Thanks! Brownray8309 (talk) 21:14, 29 April 2015 (UTC)

Hello SecretName101. Your opinion on the purpose and intent of the infobox template mentioned above has been requested at TfD. Etamni | ✉   18:49, 10 August 2015 (UTC)

This was more intended as a draft-effort, and was abondoned. I (perhaps inappropriately) published it, rather than maintaining it first as a draft page. It currently serves no real purpose and may be deleted.SecretName101 (talk) 19:33, 10 August 2015 (UTC)

Please don't bite the newbies

I notice you've nominated Francis Arcilla for speedy deletion, less than a minute after it was created by a new editor. Please consider that a new editor might be trying to work out how to use the editor when they first create a new article, and hitting them with a barrage of hostile deletion templates on the talk page may not be the best way to make them feel welcome here. Please have a read of WP:DONTBITE for some other ideas on how to help out new editors rather than scare them off. Lankiveil (speak to me) 08:25, 2 November 2015 (UTC).

check the source

Please check this source http://my.fakingnews.firstpost.com/2015/09/21/50-young-entrepreneurs-from-kerala-will-get-startup-boxes-akhil-got-the-best-entrepreneur-award-from-kerala/ for applicable for Akhil G. KrishnanAkhilgkrishnan4u (talk) 08:48, 2 November 2015 (UTC)

The article was written by Akhil G Krishnan himself. Not a very reliable source for non-biased information about him as a subject.

Is that article user-generated content? It appears that it might be, but I'm uncertain. User-generated content ('anyone can publish'-style webpages) are not all that reliable. If it indeed is, then I recommend finding another source. But I commend your efforts in finding additional sources. I'm sure, if the subject is indeed a well-known individual, you will find a stronger source. Was this individual featured in a printed newspaper article? If you can track down a printed article (newspaper articles, not printed advertisements) then that could serve as a good citation. Especially if there is an online copy of said news article. If he was featured in a well-regarded publication. There may be issues there nonetheless, due to the Indian paid news scandal, but well-regarded publications nonetheless are generally considered to be far stronger and more reliable sources. I recommend creating a draft of the article, and further developing said draft, if you wish to develop an article on this topic. See Wikipedia:Sandbox, Wikipedia:Drafts, Wikipedia:Drafts, Help:Userspace draft, Wikipedia:So you made a userspace draft for more information. Best of luck!

User sandboxes

are there for experimenting. This edit was not a good idea, as you noticed. In such a case, please remove the deletion template and the nasty message from the user's talk page immediately and try to work harder on not biting the newbies. Thank you, —Kusma (t·c) 11:21, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
