This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of South Wedge Diner, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://rocwiki.org/South_Wedge_Diner. June 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from South Wedge Diner, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. VernoWhitney (talk) 01:28, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:File-Map of New York highlighting Rochester.png[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:File-Map of New York highlighting Rochester.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 12:52, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Tom Richards (politician) has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Mhiji 03:22, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

File:RAThorburn.JPG missing description details[edit]

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as File:RAThorburn.JPG is missing a description and/or other details on its image description page. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors to make better use of the image, and it will be more informative for readers.

If the information is not provided, the image may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

If you have any questions please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 03:10, 10 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article 2012 Webster, New York shooting has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsurprising consequence of allowing just about anybody to buy an assault rifle: routine crime.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Orphaned non-free media (File:ThePeoplesChampRA.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:ThePeoplesChampRA.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:37, 2 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your upload of File:2012usasub619.PNG or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

Request to remove autoblock(?)[edit]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Sub619 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

While I don't believe the account itself has been blocked, upon attempting to make an edit today, I have noticed that my IP address is blocked from editing. Now, I have made zero malicious edits and haven't vandalized any aspect of Wikipedia in many years. The reason for this current autoblock seems to stem from an old case (see the top of this page) in which I was accused of being a sockpuppet to an account that was creating a page about a fake god. To this day, I maintain that I am innocent in that accusation and someone else was using my computer at the time, however I did attempt to log into that other account in question (Bcj999) earlier today to see if it was still active, as I was in the process of recovering many older account across several different websites. The moment I successfully logged into that one, my IP address was automatically blocked and now I cannot edit using this main account. I would like to request you please remove the block on my IP address. The vandalism that occurred happened nearly a decade ago and I think my recent history proves that I am not only a legitimate user, but a constructive one. I would certainly hate to lose this account, which I have been editing with since 2007, over a 9 year old misunderstanding. Thank you. Sub! 03:00, 12 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I was initially disinclined to lift the autoblock. Although you claim you are innocent of the use of sockpuppets, you've also admitted to being able to log in to another account, Bcj999, which is... a sockpuppet account, used in violation of WP:SOCK. However, that account was set up in 2008, and I believe your claims here. Your editing history since that time shows you are no longer malicious. Indeed, you do contribute productively to Wikipedia. So... why am I declining instead of accepting the unblock request? Solely because you used the wrong unblock template. You need to use unblock-auto in order for us to find the block. The full instructions should appear when you try to edit. Note that other admins are not bound to lift the autoblock (which, in any case, will expire 24 hours after you last signed in with Bcj999), but I hope they follow my reasoning and consider lifting the block. If I see you using unblock-auto, I'll lift it. Please refrain from ever signing in again with your sockpuppet account, though. Yamla (talk) 10:56, 12 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:19, 16 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on User:Sub619/2012 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. ƒirefly ( t · c ) 17:30, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
