Hey, just in case you missed it, there is an oppurtunity to get a free dinner this Tuesday August 11 and a chance to meet and hang out talk about Wikipedia:WikiProject United States Public Policy and WP:GLAM/SI. Sorry that this is so late in the game, I was hoping the e-mail would be a better form of contact for active members (if you want to get on the e-mail list send me an User e-mail ). Hope that you can attend, User:Sadads (talk)12:42, 9 August 2010 (UTC)

UAA - Real Names

Just a quick note, because I saw two of your reports (specifically, this and this) at UAA. Using your real name is not a violation of the username policy. Those report are generally best taken to WP:COIN or (in the case of continued spamming) WP:AIV. TNXMan 22:20, 11 August 2010 (UTC)

  • I am aware of this, however, use of the person's real name is not why I made those reports. In the case of Ian Foster, he had spammed at his userpage, so I saw that as a violation of WP:ORGNAME -- in this case the person's real name is like his business name. I can see an argument for COIN reporting of Khirma Eliazov instead... that was a spam article outside of user space. Tckma (talk) 16:11, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

I have a question about User:Ben Sands Folk Singer there. Thanks your patrolling work. - Dank (push to talk) 21:22, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

I noticed that you issued a speedy warning to the creator of this article, but looking at the article history I can't see that you actually added the speedy tag to the article. Was this an oversight? Would you care to do so now? 69.181.249.92 (talk) 14:44, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

The article was moved by that author to correct capitalization. But it also doesn't look like there was ever a speedy on the original article either. There is now, on both. Likely it was Twinkle acting up. Tckma (talk) 15:40, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
That's it, blame the software. (I really hate Twinkle at times.) 69.181.249.92 (talk) 15:45, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
