Created a new account because I couldn’t access my old one—I may never have verified it via email. I was very transparent that this was a new account on my user page. @Yamla: there's some seriously fishy stuff going on at Randy Pitchford. There are repeated attempts to puff up the page, most likely from paid sock farms. See User talk:Ferret/Archive 13#Randy Pitchford and User talk:MER-C#UPE activity, I believe (Special:Permalink/1004034006#UPE activity, I believe). If, after reading that and looking through the article history, you think that this person is completely unrelated to what's been going on there, I guess it would be OK to unblock. But any more disruption to Randy Pitchford's article would probably result in a swift re-block from Drmies, Ferret, or another admin. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 22:36, 31 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Yamla: Apologies—just getting to this now. Like I said, I needed a new account because I couldn't access my old one. I was clear about that on my editor page and I haven't used NichePenguinLifestyle since then (because I couldn't access it). I have only ever had one functional account at a time. I'm happy to stay away from Randy Pitchford's article if that's the cause of all of this, but I'd like to be able to just make the occasional edit to pages that have errors/seem to be missing something like I was doing before this ban.Tron-F-Kennedy (talk) 23:59, 4 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
