Manchester[edit]

Hi - I reverted your recent edit to Manchester, just wanted to explain why. The lead section of an article is intended to summarise the content of the rest of the article - there shouldn't be anything there that is not covered in the body of the article somewhere, with a supporting citation to a reliable source. Your source didn't have a citation, and I couldn't see anything in the body of the article covering that content, so I've removed it for now. If you can find a reliable source to support it, please add the assertion, with a citation to the source, into the appropriate part of the 'history' section before reinstating it to the lead; or, if I have erred and it is already somewhere in the body of the article and I just missed it, please let me know. One other thing, while I'm here - per our manual of style, it should be 1890s, not 1890's (no apostrophe required). Cheers GirthSummit (blether) 18:14, 22 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Just realised you're pretty new - I will give you a 'welcome' template below, with some useful links to various guidelines and policies. Welcome, and happy editing! GirthSummit (blether) 18:17, 22 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

February 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Cordless Larry. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Regal Petroleum, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at The Co-operative Group, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Cordless Larry (talk) 11:58, 23 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

July 2020[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Hinduism in Mozambique, you may be blocked from editing. drt1245 (talk) 19:58, 9 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for persistently adding unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Hinduism by country. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Cordless Larry (talk) 21:01, 14 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

September 2020[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Channel Four Television Corporation.

Wikipedia requires citations to reliable sources. This help maintain the encyclopedia's integrity and reputation for factual accuracy. Because you did not add a reference for the edit you made, it has been undone. Senator2029 “Talk” 17:10, 13 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
