Tag title templates

I just thought I'd run this matter by you since you seem to be the top contributor in professional wrestling-related articles/templates/lists. I noticed you created a template for the TNA Tag Team Championship but I don't think it works, same with the WWE Tag Team Title templates (although your TNA template is a lot better). If you take a look at the WWE tag templates they are far too long and unnecessary, if there was a way to have the templates neatly without all the clutter I would be all for it but sadly I don't think there is at the current time so I'm hoping your with me on this when I say we should get rid of them. And I'm sorry for bothering you if you couldn't care less about the matter but again you seem to be the go-to-guy. ^The Jay Experience 12:48, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

Of course I don't mind, that's be great! It seems like I'm the only one who works on it, because I am the only one who works on it, apart from random ips now and again. Yea, it's ridiculous the amount of edit conflicts I've had on current ppvs, it's too much effort, so I tend to still stick mainly to the bios, they get a lot opg good faith but bad edits on ppv night. What d'you think of the promo? I was rolling on the floor dying, and I do mean dying, of laughter after it. This is why WWE fucked up. Well, I heard that he was supposed to be at Impact last week as Amazing Red's tag team partner, but missed it 'cause of a back injury, but *shrugs* that's what the dirtsheets said. Yea, it really pisses me off actually, I've always loved tag team wrestling, from my childhood I guess, and I still do, and there is no tag team division in WWE anymore. Yea, Vince is losing it, but I'm not keen on the idea of Shane or Steph taking over the whole thing. Shane = Batista mark, and the guy who keep pushing him up to main event level, and Steph, well Katie Vick, 'nuff said. I feel kind of sorry for Edge, I mean this is his ninth title reign, and I think the longest he's held it for is about three months, I mean, that really sucks for him. I think a long title reign would be good for him. WWE fucked up (big shock) Randy should have won at WM, it made sense then, and this is just ridiculous. If he doesn't hold it for a while, WWE has lost the plot, he's still the best thing in WWE right now. I was really expecting Christian to get drafted, actually, I don't know why they didn't. The CM Punk thing reminds me of last year, he won the MitB, jobbed for a couple of months, and then won the World Championship. It diodn't make sense then, and it doesn't make sense now. In all fairness, I was pissed when he won MitB again this year, I was hoping for Christian, but since Vince doesn't lke him... I don't really like CM Punk in WWE, his matches aren't great, his mic skills have deterioated, and he[s not very interesting quite frankly. Still wouldn't watch it. Besides, unless Cena was jumping ship to TNA or something, there's no way in hell WWE would put Punk over him. Plus, ROH fans wouldn't spend 30 or 40 dollars on a ppv to watch one match. No way. TripleMania

Well it's 17, not 27 - XVII is 17, as for why there are more TripleMania events than there is numbers well some TripleManias were actually a series of shows 2 or three in a year and they were called something like "TripleMania III-C", which is why there are more events than the number indicates. First, WP:THE only refers when to use "The" (i.e. whether to use "Brian Kendrick" or "The Briand Kendrick"). Second, It IS overlinking. I will point to other examples like The [[Road Warriors]] (rather than [[Road Warriors|The Road Warriors]]. If you disagree, bring it up on the template talkpage because the overlinking is incorrect. Well im a huge fan of theirs and Ive read that article over, and have to tried to polish it up. Im searching for citations & references for it. On the image I added the date I took the photo. If there is something else needed you can say so. I dont get why there would be an issue with the image because its just cropped so the focus is on the screen. TNA

While you were correct in removing the comment, you were wrong in your edit summary. Shark Boy is still with TNA, he just doesn't appear on TV that often (there are many WWE wrestlers in the same situation, like Kung Fu Naki). He has appeared on TV more recently than 6 months though, he appeared on the Destination X PPV as one of the 3 finalists in the "One Night with ODB" segment. TJ Spyke 22:22, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

Not really, no. At least I don't think so. I graduate from secondary school (like your middle and high schools combined) next Thursday, irregardless of how I do in my Leaving Cert, which starts about two weeks after my graduation. The Leaving Cert is organised by the government (idiots that they are) - it's a state exam. You must do at least 6 subjects, unless you have an exemption (I do 8). The exams are set over a period of 2 and a half weeks, and they're all sent off to the govermnemt to be marked. We get the results back in August, and (the reason they affect my entire future) I figure out if I got the grades for the college course I want. If I didn't (which considering I need a minimum of 480, and realistically 550 or so, which is A2s means I probably won't get the grades I need), I won't got the college course I want, which means I won't get the job I want, which means my future is fucked. ♥Nici♥Vampire♥Heart♥ 08:54, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

The Legacy

Surely it's a better idea to say both the terms stable and alliance rather than use the word alliance in an attempt to be more readable by external readers but then pipelink to the S in slang terms; someone not au fait with wrestling won't have any idea the term meant is stable. Yeah I see what you're doing and that's why I originally included both words, I just think it's a bit useless to pipelink to a list of words without indicating with word is meant. I have the feeling there used to be a stable article that was deleted but I may be confusing it with another article. I think it could be a useful page to read too but as with a lot of articles on wrestling concepts it's hard to get sources for it. Tony2Times (talk) 11:03, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

I've wanted to suggest making subheaders for each term before but assumed it wasn't done because it was problematic. I've been reading a lot of old week by week articles on Slam which give mentions and explanations here and there, I'll try and remember to use them as a source next time I come across them. Re:Wrestling lists

I think most of the more concerning ones have been cleaned up or delisted. Some of the current WWE ones do have short leads that should be expanded (ie. List of WWE Intercontinental Champions). I was concerned about the referencing in NWA World Women's Championship, but I think that one has since been cleaned up. Yea, I've got three as well.I don't think it's so much that the sports section is slow, just that people aren't reviewing the wrestling articles. Under the sports section wrestling articles are numbers 4-7, and 1-4 are under review as are 8 and 9. WWE Championship

It was announced on ECW tonight that the WWE Championship will be on the line next week on Raw in a Fatal Four-Way match between Triple H/Orton/Cena/Big Show. The only question I guess is whether WWE considers the title vacant right now or next Monday, either way the title will be vacant and a new champ crowned. TJ Spyke 05:08, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

Just wanted to let you know I've removed most of the sources which are deemed possibly unreliable etc, and will be in process of searching for more, and someone on the Noticeboard told me to list the questionable source differently as you can see on the Sandbox, plus I've removed some of the Wrestling-Title sources and swapped em with Solie.org sources, just giving you a little update. Oh yeah I forgot to tell you that I am in the process of doing up the top section, so it's not complete, I am going to explain how each title was spun off the Title, I've still got some old stuff left over from the Original Article on there, hence the one paragraph which is still up so that'll be removed in time, I'll source everything up on that section.
