Re

Well I found sources saying that he held the belt, but not that he won it, would it be a good idea to note the first recognized publication of him defending or set to defend the title and leave a note at the bottom saying that this is the first recognized defence? Afkatk (talk) 23:01, 14 June 2009 (UTC)

Goldberg's pic

I found a better picture: http://www.flickr.com/photos/23782780@N03/3169704136/ Because it's on Flickr and available to the public, it doesn't need a "Fair Use Rationale" right? Raaggio 03:38, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

The championships

I've been looking through the WWE championships and comparing them with some of the newer promoted lists (ie. List of PWG World Champions) and in terms of the table portion, I don't see much difference. The PWG list has a successful defences column (completely unusable for WWE championships) and is centered, that's about it. I'm not a big fan of centering text in tables, I think it makes it harder to read and it looks a bit messier. Most of the lists need larger leads and a key, and I'll work on adding those, but is there anything specific in regards to the table that you think needs to be added? I was considering adding a references column, it might be of help in instances where there are no notes. -- Scorpion0422 15:06, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

Why is primary sourcing in lists a bad thing? In articles it should be avoided, but in lists, primary sources are the best source you can use because most of the third party sources are based off the primary one. -- Scorpion0422 15:20, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
I agree with you about removing the less reliable sources. However, I still think we are okay with just using WWE (although if you know of any reliable sources out there, by all means add them) because the concerns of primary sourcing and notability refer more to articles. The main article should establish notaility, the list is just a companion. -- Scorpion0422 15:33, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

I'll try to add in a few general refs if I can, but the sake of consistancy, I would prefer to stick with the WWE title history for row citations. What do you think of the changes I made to List of World Heavyweight Champions (WWE)? Is there anything else that needs to be done with that one? -- Scorpion0422 15:54, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

I wasn't really a fan of refs columns at first, but I have warmed up to them. If we're going to have a ref on every row, we might as well do our best to try to make it look as neat and professional as possible, and having them stuck randomly, even in rows without sections, does look sloppy. And I know sourcing is usually good, but there is such a thing as going overboard. If we can cover everything we need to with one source, why bother adding two or three per row? -- Scorpion0422 16:08, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

While complete primary sourcing may not be the most desirable option, my priority right now is to get them to a format that will be in line with the most recent FLs. I'll worry about sourcing when I have more time. -- Scorpion0422 16:43, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

Why did you just change the table? The previous version looked better IMO. The new table doesn't really add anything as the previous table was sortable too. TJ Spyke 05:59, 14 June 2009 (UTC)

FLC and FAC

Will get to both of them today. I'll probably look at the FLC first, and review the X Division tonight. Giants2008 (17-14) 14:56, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

Blocked

You have been blocked for a period of 24 hours for edit warring on on both List of TNA X Division Champions & TNA X Division Championship. It is essential that you are more careful to discuss controversial changes with the user in question, rather than simply revert them repeatedly: this applies even if you think or know you are correct. Edit warring helps nobody, and actually harms the page in question, and the encyclopedia. If you agree to stop edit warring, and take the issue to talk pages I am more than willing to unblock. To contest this block please place {{unblock|your reason here}} below. Tiptoety talk 03:38, 15 June 2009 (UTC)

Hello, Wrestlinglover. Welcome to the Amazing Race Wikipedia. In your travels, you will encounter two types of tasks. In a Detour, you have a choice between two tasks. Both of you must work together on this. In a Roadblock, one team member must work on a task alone. Your Amazing Race Wikipedia submissions page is located here. Enjoy the competition! Re: Week

Will, you got blocked? *Sigh* I should stop leaving breaks, every time I do, drama erupts. I'm back by the way! And the rest of my exams went pretty good, so my week has been pretty good actually. To answer your question, yes I do think you're a little strange, but not in a bad way. I've never considered you a freak or a psycho, just an excellent friend, who can be a little crazy at times. And that's not a bad thing, it's a good thing. Relieves the boredom! Whoever told you that is an ass, so I wouldn't worry about it. Got a song for you by the way [1]. Amazing.... ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 10:50, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

I can't belive you were edit-warring. Didn't you learn anything from last time? Hmmm, I right with my above assessment then, wasn't I? Ridiculous idiots... You're welcome. :) My page was boring so I decided to spice it up a little, I've been thinking about it for weeks. Ha, I already know Hallelijah - it's on my ipod. Not so sold on Rammstein, I must say. Not really my taste. As to the Race, I have no idea. We have to wait and see what out first challenge will be. :) I have some WP:DYK ideas, though, but I'm gonna keep 'em quiet 'til the race begins! I suppose we can do A.J. Styles as one of the GAs. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 11:23, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
Two barnstars? Well, aren't you the generous soul? Seriously, though, thank you. I really appreciate them. :) And I'm just returning the favour for all the times you've cheered me up/got me into trouble at school for making me laugh/etc. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 11:30, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
Absolutely. Are there even any lists left? You've been going on a crazy FL spree you know. Let's see you've done all the ROH, PWG, and now CZW ones, right? All the TNA and WWE ones are done as well. I suppose we could do some Japanese ones, but references might be hard to come by. Have you finished all the FIP ones? Ooh, I know. Jersey All-Pro Wrestling ones, have they been done? They should be long enough. We also have the portal by the way, in case that ever comes up as a roadblock/detour/whatever. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 11:37, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
Dude, how far behind are you? You been up all night again or something? Reply to this m,essage and the above one together, and we'll be at the same place. :) ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 11:39, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
Oh, alright. We got loads to pick from. OVW's a good one actually. If not a championship, then what? The roster lists aren't stable enough, and I am not going to work on the WWE alumni list (all 5 of them). Yea, I do that, but with Criminal Minds instead! ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 11:50, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
Wow. What's with the one comment on my page, and one on yours? That's confusing. Anyway, yea, no I don't pay much or any attention to lists really, I'm that interested in them. You pick them, and then I'll help work on them. You have more experience than me, so you should be able to come up with some good references or whatever. I shall be your slave on lists (and lists only :P) ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 11:57, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
It's alright. Hmmm, Featured picture, I have no idea. FA, that all depends. Would you prefer to do a bio or a ppv? ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 16:05, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
Well, Shappy just said we have some choice in the options, so we might not have to do an FA! :) See the thing is, I don't know. I'd prefer to do a bio, to keep it more within my skills set, but you know how to get ppvs to FA, and no bio has passed FA for a while, so, I dunno... I'll have to think about it some more. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 11:24, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
None. I don't like FA remember? :) I never had plans to take any of my articles to FA. I suppose, out of the ones you've named, either Styles (since we're already planning to work on him) or Edge and Christian, since it's pretty stable and doesn't really get edited that much, would be the way to go. Have you been to sleep yet ot are you watching more Angel? ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 11:48, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

<--Hmm, yea, there's a few like Ric Flair, Bryan Danielson, and Randy Orton that I think should be FA, but I'll let Blue get Orton, Flair's just way too much work, and Bryan Danielson needs quite a bit of work as well. I think Styles, we shall go for. Easier to get reliable refs I think, plus we already have plans, so let's do it! ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 12:14, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

Dude, seriously? Flair was awesome and Orton is awesome. No arguments. I agree about Kenta though. Hmmm, I'm all for doing Danielson if you're up for it. :) ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 15:56, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
Yes, backups are always good! Well, from what I read in The Sun, Orton had a quiet word with Kennedy about being more careful in the ring, but Vince decided that Kennedy's carelessness combined with all his injuries meant he could be fired. Orton didn't ask for hiom to get fired. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 00:20, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
Yea, RVD got arrested - that's bad publicity. Orton hasn't been caught by cops, so it's fine. 'Sides, he's not the only one. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 00:34, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
I dunno about that. 'Sides, Falir was only in ROH to begin with to get Reid a job. 'Cept he's been busted for heroin, so ROH doesn't want him. *Sigh* Too much drugs in wrestling. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 00:44, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
Yea, yea, I agree really. Such a shame, he coulda brought ROH a bit more attention from most of the wrestling media, which can only be a good thing. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 00:57, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

<--Depends on the exam. English, Bio, Chem, Accounting, French = pretty good. Maths and Home Economics = brutal, absolutely terrible. Irish = meh. It's the waiting that's going to piss me off. I don't find out the results until the middle of August. :( ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 01:15, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

Not in the school system. The Leaving Cert has nothing to do with indiviual schools, it's a state/government exam. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 01:23, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
Well, if you're going to do that, you should probably wait 'til the exams have been corrected, which will be the middle of July at least. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 01:28, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
I think there's a button somewhere... Quick comment re: this edit, I have reverted to allow the bot to move it to the archive, I could do it myself, but it's better to let the bot do it to ensure all the needed info is there (like the number in brackets after the name. I've no idea where that's from). Hope you don't mind. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 11:34, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
Well, surely that'll all depend on our first task. There's a discussion going on here over whether or not you can edit articles that you intend to nominate before the race begins, but it's confusing and everything is conflicting. We should wait until that is clarified before we get started I think. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 12:16, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
Works for me. I can try and take the PWG/ROH sections, I'm pretty good at finding references so I'll have a go at that, and see what I come up with. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 12:35, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

<--Well, I'll have a look on Slam, but I highly doubt they'll hve much. They have some interviews, but they don't do full reviews of shows/dvds for anyone 'cept WWE and TNA unforunately. I think the Torch is out best shot. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 15:33, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

You're making this too complictaed Will! I should explain myself a little better I think. I dislike just choosing one section and working exclusively on that, and with two people working on an article we could run into difficulties if we have different writing styles. You know a lot more about TNA than I do, so you're probably best to work on them, but I will work on them as well, to clean, if I find an interview mentioning something, etc. I don't take one section and go "I'm doing this one, you do that one", I don't think it works too well. I don't think it'll matter overmuch, unless we start edit-conflicting if we're working on it at the same time. For Danielson especially, I'm most likely going to be source hunting and adding info sporadically as I find it, to all sections, which is why I think section-by-section is a particularly bad idea.
Apologies if none of that made sense, but hopefully you'll get what I'm trying to say. I think we can work on Danielson in the actual artice, it doesn't get edited with any great regularity, so we should be ok. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 16:17, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
Thank you! No, it's fine, I'd forgotten we haven't really worked on anything together. We'll muddle through somehow! :) ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 16:40, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
No, no, I get it, it's cool. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 17:01, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
Never even heard of it. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 17:09, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

Commons

Basically some user was uploaded an image of what they claimed was the SummerSlam 2009 poster to Commons and claiming they created it and were releasing it for free use (check the SS09 edit log). They then kept adding it the article here, refusing to reply to comments on their talkpage or provide proof that it was real. After the image was deleted on Commons they re-uploaded it right back with the same name and the same BS claim. TJ Spyke 18:51, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I think it's already been deleted again. TJ Spyke 19:39, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
The user started doing it again, now claiming it is a free use image from Flikr [2]. TJ Spyke 02:28, 20 June 2009 (UTC)

Sigh

Always archiving threads in the middle of conversations! :P I will, once I finish watching Criminal Minds. Anyway, I suppose we've discussed eveything now, so let's just relax until July 1, and then go crazy with our first task! Later dude, ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 13:54, 20 June 2009 (UTC)

Hmmm, well I don't think we did mention the WM 26 location. It would havre been announced around the time of WrestleMania XXV right? Well, it's not in the corresponding issue (40) or the previous or following ones (39 or 41). ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 07:42, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
Hmm, well I' not particularly inclined to go hunting through any more of the old issues, but if you come across it in one further back feel free to readd it. We need more TNA news in the newsletter I always feel. Somehow we end up with more indy news than TNA news at times. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 07:46, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
I suppose. It's because none of their wrestlers are getting injured or being released or whatever like WWE... ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 08:16, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
*grins* Their wrestlers are focused on other things so they're not getting injured or fired? Interesting... ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 00:48, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
True, true. Hey, have you started reviewing GANs yet? ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 02:54, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

<--No reason, really. I was just curious. Mainly because I've reviewing my first one atm to try and persuade people to review some of the 5 (I think) that I have up there. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 03:11, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Wow, if I didn't like you so much, I'd be creeped out. No, I'm kidding. Yea, I was thinking about reviewing wrestling ones, but quite frankly, aside from the fact half of them are mine, I don't want. I decided on Zesh Rehman because a) it looked like an interesting article, and b) I know a little something about football (soccer) to you, so I didn't feel like a complete idiot when I went through it. That's my problem with half of those articles actually, I know nothing about ice hockey, or US football, or basketball, or whatever else, so... ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 03:25, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
Strange. I add articles I actually give a damn about or that are frequently vandalised to my watchlist. Yea, I thought about that too, and I probably will, but I wanted to decrease the Sports backlog (which is ridiculous). I appreciate the thought og you reviewing some of my articles Will, but remember I'd prefer people who don't regularly work on or contribute majorly to wrestling articles or who are members of WP:PW to review mine. I prefer getting a fresh perspective. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 04:39, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
What a cynical, cynical man you are. I wouldn't blame you for not wanting to read my work - sometimes I don't want to read my work. *Sigh* Hey, I like DiBiase, he's actually got some talent. Plus, one of a few on their way for another WP:GT Hmmm, since mid-May? Didn't he do this with another article as well? He nominated it, and then disappeared for a while due to computer problems or something, leaving everyone else to fix the problems? ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 04:52, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
"Wikipedia is mostly an atheistic community which I've grown to notice is very bias against any type of religion other than their own" = cynicism. I'm not biased at all against religion. I just think it's a crock. :) Yea, I'd just tell you to stick it. Yep, me and 'Blue decided The Legacy would be our next project. Hmmm, that reminds me, I have sources to find... Next Cena? No. Teddy has talent. Strange, I hope he's ok. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 05:32, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
Will, I know you didn't say anything about me. It was an attempt (apparently failed) at humour. No, see, I stay the hell away from anything like that. The stress that results from idiocy and prejudice just isn't worth it in the real world, let alone the wiki world. It's not for no reason. Simply put, Cens ruins my enjoyment of WWE, because when he's not constantly beating the odds, over and over and over and over again, they're video packages about how great he is or he's cutting stupid promos. All those promos in 2006 (the last ones of his I actually watches) with the sexual innuendo towards Lita? Basically a rip-off of the original DX, just with more up-to-date references. It's tired and boring. Now, I appreciate that most of it isn't his fault, because it's WWE that book him, but still. Will, ARE YOU INSANE? "just as much talent as The Rock" - Cena? No. That's blashphemy, pure and simple blasphemy. You should be beaten unmercifully for that! I agree that neither Austin or The Rock had the best move set ever, but they had more than Cena and put them together in a more entertaining way. You're looking at the Cena/Big Show match the wrong way you know. Big Show pulled a half-decent match out of Cena, not the other way around. Big Show's match are never spectacular, but they're are always pretty solid. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 02:19, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

<--When did I say they weren't, Will? If you're going to accuse people of double standards at least have your facts straight. Although E&C together, now that was pure comedic genius. Cena and The Rock's promos near the same? Yea, ok, except for the whole Rock being entertaining thing... I'll well aware of the Die, Rocky, Die chants (it was me who referenced it in his article! :P), the difference is that Rocky managed to break that. Cena didn't, and I doubt he ever will, because he simply doesn't have the talent to do so. Rock was born to be an entertainer, a wrestler, an actor, whatever. Cena can't wrestle, is terrible in the only movie I've ever seen him in (The Marine), and isn't very entertaining. There's a world of difference between Rock and Cena. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 02:47, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

Will, please please tell me that you didn't just compare Cena to Shawn Michaels. What? Just, what? There's no parallel whatsoever. HBK got booed by everyone, because they couldn't stand the whole white meat babyface thing. Cena gets booed by smart people becuase he can't wrestle and isn't entertaining. Cena on the same level as Hogan? Yea, I'll giove you thast. Neither of them can wrestler, and both got over due to mic work. No, Cena being out didn't make wrestling worse. The video promos they showed on him being brave and awesome two/three times a show made wrestling worse. I've never seen Doom or 12 Rounds, and out of the two of them, I know hwich one I'd rather see. I'll give you a hint, it's not 12 Rounds. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 03:14, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
Well, i used to trust you, but then you compared HBk to Cena, so now I think you're slightly very insane Always thought you were slightly insane :P Nah, I'm kidding. Yea, I'm all for dropping this subject. I'd hate to start thinking you're an idiot when you're not. :) Anyway, got ya a present. It's not a very fun one, but still, for your Slammiversary (2009) article, got ya this for the reception part. Thought it might help. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 03:26, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
You're welcome. I spotted it earlier, so... LOL, that makes you sound seriously old. "These people today don't know what they're doing. In my day, we would have....". Is that a not so-subtle hint Will? I'll take a look-see in a little while, if you respond to the question I left you on the section I started. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 03:48, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
*Grins* Well, evil is in the air tonight. You did reply, and then I asked you a question, but you didn't respond to that. Regarding, your section, I don't think comparing it to WWE is useful tbh. It doesn't really show anything imo, but I mean if you want to go ahead. Except, wasn't there one that was on the same night as a WWE ppv? Or was it moved? If it was on the same night, definetly compare it, othrewise, I would say no. You should definetly compare it to the previous year, and you couls atrt comparing to this year as well. Y'know, like Against All Odds (2008) was better reveived than Against All Odds (2007), but was received worse than Against All Odds (2009), or whatever. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 04:13, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for the clarification at WT:PW. Hmmm, well I suppose that might work work, but I'm not sure. Let me know when you actually write it up, and I'll take a look. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 04:57, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

<--Great. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 05:31, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

Hmmm, I don't know. Maybe we should take a four-day break until the Amazing Race begins? ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 06:12, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
I couldn't care less what list we work on tbh. I'm actually hoping that it doesn't come up as a challenge. I hope the first one is nice though. It's a shame we don't know what the first task will be yet. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 06:35, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
You guessed right! :P Yea, they all sound fine. I've no problems with that. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 06:58, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
Yea, I reckon we've got pretty much everything covered. If a FP comes up, we'll just have to deal with it as best we can. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 07:07, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
'K, dude, I might not know much about American History, but I think everyone in the northern hemisphere has heard of Lincoln! See, I don't know much about resolution or whatever, or else I could probably take a photo of something in Dublin or whatever, but I don't understand most of the FP criteria. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 07:30, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

<--Yea, I don't know how to work them either... Alright, if I ever get around to it, I'll send you the photo. Hmmm, Summersville, Kentucky to GA? Good luck! 04:20, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

Hopefully. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 10:29, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
Hmmmm,it was supposed to be MNM, 'cause both he and Jillian Hall were members for a short time, but they were removed during the GA review, so I don't know if we need them anymore. It's a hard one to call actually. I'll have to talk to 'Blue about it. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 10:37, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
So what topic did you think I worked on Beth Phoenix for? ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 10:41, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
Actually, I hadn't thought of that. Is Nikki still going for that topic? No, I actually just did it because I had been planning to for ages, and I went a little crazy. I bet myself that I couldn't get an article ready for GAN in, I think, 6 hours. I did it though! :) I was very bored one morning... ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 10:58, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
Oh, well then I helped with Beth Phoenix then. :) That's good to know. Anyway, dude, how about we pick this conversation up on July 1, when the Race starts? ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 04:52, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

Angle

We don't count Antonio Inoki's WWE Title reign, or all of the various IC/US title reigns that WWE ignores (including for some reason reigns that WCW counted but WWE doesn't). We should remain consistant on this issue, Angle was not considered champion until he won the title at Slammiversary. TJ Spyke 12:37, 22 June 2009 (UTC)

He was never considered TNA Champion that first time, and Cornette said he didn't win the title. Angle was the first champion, but won his first title at Slammiversary. The TNA World Heavyweight Championship didn't exist before that PPV. This whole situation was argued and debated for over a year (see that title's talkpage). Basically we note the unofficial title reign, but it's still unofficial and always was. TJ Spyke 23:48, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
First, why do you just blind revert instead of making the small change? You screwed up the table. Second, what is your problem? The previous first of the table was factually correct in stating Angle is a 3 time champion but still noted his unofficially reign. That is a good compromise. The current current version of the article is factually incorrect. I won't revert since I don't want to violate 3RR, but I will not let up on this issue (maybe a content dispute tag will get people discussing it, but only if this is not resolved in the next couple of days). FLC reviews

I'd like to apologize as well if I come off as an ass, it's been known to happen :) I sympathise with the source issue, trust me it's the main reason why I stick to Lucha Lists, they're covered more in actual mainstream media so it makes sourcing easier. And i definitly understand the fact that a WP:PW consus is as rare as petrified dino droppings so maybe between us and anyone else who produces Feature Lists (any idea who?) maybe we can come to an internal agreement on the formats? ECW500

I used to notice a lot of vandalism on the WrestleCrap article, so I put it on my watchlist. I saw that the same guy kept vandalizing that article and several others (the monster-themed cereal article, RD Reynolds, etc.). I reverted a lot of his edits, so he added my talk page to the list of his favorite targets. Protecting his favorite targets worked pretty well, but now that the protection has expired, it has started up again. GaryColemanFan (talk) 20:28, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

List of World Heavyweight Champions (WWE)

I have no problem with a dash being used, my only issue is that using the dash by itself was screwing up the sorting. Vacancies of coarse should be listed at the bottom of the table when you sort it by length (from longest to shortest), but the dash by itself was causing them to be listed at the top. If you know how to have it shown as a dash but listed like it was at 0, feel free to fix it. None of this would be needed if we had just kept it at the previous version of the table, but that doesn't matter. TJ Spyke 02:43, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Another problem with the new table you put in: how it ranks ties. Normal tables with have ties sorted oldest to newest (i.e. a person winning the title in 2004 would be listed before someone who held the title for the same length of time in 2006). Taking a look at it, CM Punk is tied with Chris Jericho's November reign of 20 days. Doing the sorting should result in Jericho listed first and Punk second, but this new table does it the other way around (along with the other ties). TJ Spyke 00:45, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

Triple Crown

Hi.I have seen that youput again Young as a potential champion. I have reasons to say no. First, the Youngs regin is the most strange, i think that he never won the title officialy because corente still vacant after the match. The problem is that TNA don't makes a list woth the champions. Second, in the TNA X D Championship article, you say that the young's regin is unofficial, that TNA don't recogoncied the regin. Only this, he isn't a potential champion. I wait that you understand my arguments --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 03:16, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

  • In this case, we consider official the regins that the promotions saids that are unofficial?--HHH Pedrigree (talk) 03:29, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Womens Title

I think all titles should have the combined reigns contain every champion, every time I have tried to do that though it got reverted and told it should only be top reigns (see the US Title article for the most recent example). If you want to bring this up at WP:PW, I would be happy to support it. TJ Spyke 03:35, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

There is nothing more to expand on WWE Backlash except from the History which will be done. Several more references need to added which I will do. Backlash (2001) and Backlash (2000) will also be completed fully eventually.

Amazing Race Wikipedia Starts!

Hello, Shappy. This is a reminder that Amazing Race Wikipedia will start very soon. At 00.00 (or whereabouts), our host Firestorm will place the first Detour on your submissions page. Again, the Detour is a choice between two tasks; both members of the team choose one task and work together to complete it. A Roadblock is a task only one team member must perform; he/she may not have any help from the other team member. Good luck and enjoy the Race! :-) Shappy (talk · contribs) and Firestorm (talk · contribs) --EdwardsBot (talk) 13:34, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

Re: Amazing Race

Unfortunately, we're going to have to wait 'til to tomorrow to really get started on this, I have to attend a funeral today, so I have about an hour and a half internet access tops. Emmm, normally, I'd say DYKs, but that's for creation, not expansion! :( So, I say lists, and I say ROH employess and WCW World Television Champions (if we can find reliable sources for the WCW one). You have to tell me what to do here Will, I have do idea what to do for lists! ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 07:54, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

Ok, I'll try. Expect lots of help messages! My best friend's grandfather died, so I'm going to support her. :( ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 08:10, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
I will. Ok, sounds good. I take it we're doing the championship one first? Th employees list should be easier, so if we do that second we can fly through it. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 08:18, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
Fair enough. I don't particularly mind. Just a quick note though, five lines of prose wouldn't be enough. It has to be at least 1500 characters after expansion, if I remember right. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 08:28, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
Well, I won't be online, but ok. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 08:31, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
Alrighty. I'll talk to ya tonight (my time). ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 08:36, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
Will, I've spotted a problem. I don't see how the hell we can get 1500 characters of prose on the roster list for DYK. I've had an idea. I've thought of another article (normal one) I can expand with a few hours work. If you're up for it, I'll expand that when I return, you expand the prose for the title list, and we'll nominate for DYK. Once we've done that, I'll give you a hand with the sorting and whatever for the title list, and we go for FL? How does that sound? ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 10:26, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

<--I'm still not sure, and tbh, you know what you're doing and what you can picture, and I don't. It seems to me, that we have 2 DYKs to get, and there are 2 of us, so it's logical for me to do one, and you to do one. I have no idea how to do either a roster or a championship list, so I remembered another article I was planning to do ages ago. I can expand that five times easy, so I figured I'd do that, and you can do whichever one you like. Is that ok? Obviously, if you want to get them to FL, then I'll help out if you need me to, but for the purposes of DYK, I just think each of us doing one will be quicker. And it is a race... ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 08:54, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

I'm in the middle of doing Marvin Lambert. What one are you going to do? ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 12:29, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Update: finished and nominated Marvin Lambert. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 15:42, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Ok. I think we're good. I checked the other submission pages, one has 2 DYKs, and 1 has 1 DYK, then there's us with 1, and nobody else has done anything (as of a couple of hours ago), so we're doing pretty well. Let me know if you needs me to do anything, though it'll probably be tomorrow, as I'm heading out in about half an hour. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 19:01, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
I like knowing how we're doing in a competition! ;) Impressive ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 19:12, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Well, why would I celebrate your independence day? All that means for me is that your country is no longer British, but is now free to claim that every singles person there has Irish ancestors whenever I see them. It's very annoying to have tourists constantly saying that over and over again, y'know.
Well, I won't doubt you, but trust me, every American that comes to Ireland insists they're Irish. Even when they're not. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 09:25, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

GA review of the TNA World Heavyweight Championship

I've had to put this GA review on hold, there is a "factual accuracy disputed" tag on the list of TNA World Champions and this dispute also pertains to the TNA World Heavyweight Championship article, this disagreement needs to be resolved between everyone involved so that the article can be stabilized. MPJ-DK (talk) 11:41, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

  • The article does not even agree with itself. In one section it said Angle won it, then was stripped. In another it says he first won it at the next PPV, it's internally inconsistent. MPJ-DK (talk) 07:53, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
  • I had only begun the review and I stumbled on this right away, I just felt like there was no point in reviewing on if there was an editwar in the works. Hopefully it'll stay resolved and I can begin actually reviewing the article. MPJ-DK (talk) 08:38, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

From what I can see it boils down to the word "official", what makes something official? in wrestling it's official if the promotion acknowledges it - that doesn't mean it doesn't exist, it happened but is not recognized by the promotion. I'd say the way it's handled in the WWE Championship is enclyopedicy correct, we state that it happened, it's a fact that can be cite, but we also state that the promotion does not acknowledge that it was an official title change. We need to state both, because they're both facts about a specific event. MPJ-DK (talk) 09:06, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

There has not been a further review because 1) I've been busy with stuff and 2) I've been waiting a few days to see if it really was stable or not. I will begin reviewing it pretty soon though. MPJ-DK (talk) 06:00, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

I've got the book, but I'm pretty sure none of those are included. The original version (1998?) had a ton of title histories, but I seem to have lost my copy. TV title

I'm afraid the book isn't more detailed, they do not have more specific dates listed - in fact there are various things where the Wiki list and the book list differ, the book has Ole Anderson as the first champion and undated reigns for Danny Miller and Ivan Koloff, not the specific dates listed on the page. I can't be more helpful I'm afraid. MPJ-DK (talk) 15:22, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

  • I did however come up with a better way to handle the "Unknown" reigns. Check out the four previously "Unknown" reigns in List of CMLL World Welterweight Champions that now have something a bit more specific without being "Original Research". MPJ-DK (talk) 15:24, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
  • Ah I see the MCW Title... small snag, I cannot find it in the Wrestling title book, it's not listed under Memphis, it's got MCW North American title etc but not that one. MPJ-DK (talk) 15:28, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

It was added to the page by MadMax during an AFC discussion, problem is that he just added the generic reference without chapter & pages and it looks like he copied it from one of my early references as it's 100% identical. MadMax's talk page does not really make me feel better about his reliability. I'm not sure it was ever confirmed that it's in there, I can't find it with the other MCW titles. MPJ-DK (talk) 15:36, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Hi

Yea, that was a long time ago... i dont have the same amount of time to invest anymore but i used to be very active... back when i first started only a few wrestlers (like Chris Jericho) even had pages and if you go back on many of the wrestler pages you'll see my name pop up alot, and me a few other people worked together to create the standard template which the current layouts were all based on. lol im feeling all nostalgic. Anyway, i dont keep up with much wrestling anymore (in fact the WPPW newsletters are my source for the latest info) though i still keep taps on the many of the British wrestlers and promotions. So yea thanks for your message, glad to see things are being kept well maintained by the people involved by the project. --- Paulley (talk) 18:52, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Thanks

Thank you for your input on the NWA title, I appreciate it. And yes I am planning on taking it to FL at some point, in fact I'm hoping to get all CMLL championships to FL for a Featured Topic of CMLL championships. I have not really begun working on that particular list in preparation for FL, I just got some sources while searching for CMLL Tag and Trios and used them, but once I start working on it I'll definitely remember it. MPJ-DK (talk) 12:55, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

  • Actually I'm a bit confused now
  • No one should be linked in the second table, it's not done like that in other FLs.
  • I've only left people very unlikely to ever get a wikipedia article unlinked in the main table pr. WP:RED
  • The combined days column sorts perfectly fine when I do it???
