Yadvinder Goma (born 4 February 1986, Palampur, Himachal Pradesh, India) is an Indian politician, Social worker and incumbent Member of Legislative Assembly from Jaisinghpur and cabinet minister in Government of Himachal Pradesh, India.[2][3] In 2022, he won from Ravi Dhiman with a margin of 2,696 votes in Legislative Assembly elections. He has B.Tech. degree in mechanical engineering from Himachal Pradesh University and MBA degree.[4] He got married in 2015.[5] Yadvinder Goma belongs to the Koli caste of Himachal Pradesh.[6]

Early life and family[edit]

Born on 4th February 1986, in Palampur, Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, Yadvinder Goma is the son of Smt. Vidya Devi and Shri Milkhi Ram Goma, a former Member of the H.P. Vidhan Sabha. He is a B.Tech graduate in Mechanical Engineering and holds an MBA from IEET Baddi, H.P. Yadvinder Goma is married to Smt. Neelam Goma, and the couple is blessed with one daughter. He is actively involved in engineering, business, and agriculture.

Political engagement[edit]

Yadvinder Goma has been actively involved in politics, serving in various capacities. He held the position of President of Youth Congress in the Jaisinghpur Constituency from 2010 to 2015. Additionally, he served as the General Secretary of the State Rajeev Gandhi Panchayati Raj Sangathan from 2011 to 2014 and as the President of the Himachal Pradesh Congress S.C. Cell from 2019 to 2021.

Legislative Career[edit]

Elected to the State Legislative Assembly in 2012, Yadvinder Goma was re-elected in December 2022. He has been nominated as the Chairman of the Subordinate Legislation Committee and serves as a Member of the Welfare & Rules Committees.
