Edun or Modern Edun is a conlang (constructed language) created by Youtuber Biblaridion and showcased on his channel on November 30th 2019. It has been created for his ongoing fantasy-project: The Refugium to stage as natural language in-universe. It has been predominantly spoken by the Thirēan People Of The Central Regions over thousands of years, who live in The Empire Of The Sun.
History[edit]
In-universe, the Thirēan People believed Edun descended from a language spoken by the gods (primarily The Sun, of which is worshipped as a god and believed to be the bringer of all life). In actuality (unbeknownst to the Thirēan People), the language descended from the proto-language: Proto-Thirēan and its etymology was intwined with said Proto-Thirēan and it's daughter languages.
