Jamie Miley (born 14 January 2004) is an English professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Premier League club Newcastle United.[1]

Career[edit]

Born in Gateshead,[2] Miley came through the ranks at Newcastle United after joining aged eleven and signed his first professional contract with the club in summer, 2022.[3] He captained the Newcastle under-18 team during the 2022-23 season.[4] In January 2023 Miley was called up to train with the Newcastle first team squad before Newcastle’s League Cup semi-final second leg against Southampton at St James' Park.[5] In the early part of 2023 Miley again trained with the first team squad and became a regular in the Newcastle under-21 team.[6] During the 2023-24 season he featured for Newcastle in the EFL Trophy against Port Vale and Wrexham.[7]

Personal life[edit]

His younger brother, Lewis Miley, is also a footballer who also plays for Newcastle United.[8]
