Videos[edit]

somebody has been adding videos of two german actors supporting the wga strike. They appear only tangentially relevant to the sag strike, so i've been removing them —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.109.132.211 (talk) 05:16, 7 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The additions in question have been reinstated, as the videos have been lauded by SAG officials, who have been recommending them and disseminating them to its Membership as a microcosmic indication of the main issues of the struggle and what is at stake for American above the line talent. The Huffington Post article to which it refers was written by a former Member of the Writers Guild of America, west Board of Directors, who is advising SAG activists. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Andymickey (talkcontribs) 07:56, 7 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not, and I quote "a Crystal Ball!". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.101.175.189 (talk) 10:54, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In today's Google news search under a specific search of "SAG strike", there are 207 current articles: http://news.google.com/news?client=safari&rls=en-us&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&um=1&tab=wn&q=%22SAG+strike%22&scoring=n. There should absolutely be an article on this topic and I STRONGLY DISAGREE with user:TJ_Spyke. However, I do support a "crystal ball" tag (which currently exists), as the event has not yet happened. Change article title[edit]

I propose that the article be renamed "2009 Screen Actors Guild strike", because it is of course no longer 2008, and the strike has not yet begun.--Snowman Guy (talk) 18:29, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Since there is no strike, thus far, shouldn't the article title be something like "2009 Screen Actors Guild labor dispute"? --DavidK93 (talk) 22:19, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
There was no opposition (or any further input at all), so I made the change. --DavidK93 (talk) 16:33, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Deep Throat[edit]

I fail to see why Deep Throat is a movie independent from the studio system if the porn industry itself is not part of the studio system. To my knowledge, SAG doesn't cover porn, and there is no actual porn actors guild, hence, I deleted it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kosmonauta (talkcontribs) 06:58, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merge[edit]

Merge reverted. No consensus for merge. Stale merge proposal. Delisting.--Amadscientist (talk) 09:52, 28 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
