Minor thing, concerning translations on the article.[edit]

This might sound something that would come from a non-familiar Wikipedia in English user, but... is it necessary to translate every single thing that came from Spanish? (In this case, it's regarding to Broad Front). I know I might edit this, but I won't, I will just suggest adding the translation of the Party's name like this:

Recent polls have suggested a competitive environment for both the ruling Frente Amplio (Broad Front) and the opposition parties.

Same thing would apply to the National Party and Colorado Party, it's merely for style purposes, besides, not every Wikipedia user would know the real name in its original language.

Vote numbers[edit]

Strange nomenclature[edit]

Could someone explain what "Ballots with YES sheets only", "Ballots with totally nullified sheets", "Nullified observed votes" and "Observed votes" refer to? 150.250.43.144 (talk) 09:25, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A result of poor translation. "Nullified sheets" refers to null, spoilt and invalid votes. "Observed votes" refers to provisional ballots. I've edited the article but I may have missed a couple of instances of those, so I'll have to come back to it. Martin Hausen (talk) 02:04, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
