Animation365 (talk) 18:05, 9 March 2022 (UTC)This along with the animated adaption of Diary of a Wimpy Kid and The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild was the third and last film to be originally in-production at 20th Century Studios, but changed to Walt Disney Pictures before completion.[reply]

Gilbreth relationship[edit]

Why does this article claim the movie was "inspired by the real life Gilbreths"?

The Gilbreths had 12 kids (hence the joke about being "cheaper by the dozen"). This family has 10.

The Gilbreths kids were all born to the same parents. This family has kids from multiple sets of parents.

The Gilbreths were efficiency experts and ran studies on their own family. This remake has nothing about that.

The only connection is that they are large families and Disney reused the title. Saying they were "inspired by the real life Gilbreths" is like saying "Yours, Mine and Ours" was also inspired by the Gilbreths. There are lots of big families in this world, it's not like the Gilbreths were the only ones. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:644:8100:61E:C586:5705:A374:2815 (talk) 16:10, 21 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The film is a remake of the 2003 film. The 2003 was inspired by (but not based on, that's an important distinction) the real life family. This is all sourced facts. The article reflects those facts. JDDJS (talk to mesee what I've done) 20:18, 22 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Why they didn't use the 20th Century Studios logo?[edit]

The producers were supposed to put the 20th Century Studios logo at the opening and closing of Cheaper by the Dozen (2022)! But the 20th Century Studios logo did not appear because it was omitted and was not credited in the film and the Walt Disney Pictures logo appeared by mistake! I'm reclaim because they didn't use the 20th Century Studios logo! The film was supposed to go with the 20th Century Studios logo. And it wasn't supposed to start the movie without the 20th Century Studios logo! That's why I'm reclaim! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 187.122.233.137 (talk) 04:01, 9 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Film adaptation?[edit]

Isn't it odd to call this (and the 2003 movie) a "film adaptation" of the book, when it's about an entirely different family, and has nothing at all in common with the book except the title? Carlo (talk) 16:59, 5 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

20th Century Studios' only Disney+ original live action film released by Walt Disney Pictures.[edit]

This movie will be 20th Century Studios' only Disney+ original live action film released by Walt Disney Pictures before moving back to 20th Century Studios. Animation134 (talk) 16:30, 10 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Premiere[edit]

This film premiered at The El Capitan Theatre. The reference previously provided for this information was a {{Bare URL}} and a {{dead link}} and I could not find an archive copy using the Wayback Machine. I reluctantly used a Twitter post as a reference instead to replace the dead link, a message from the theatre itself on their verified account.

My search also turned up a Variety.com article with an image from the premiere but it did not make a good enough reference. The article contains an image of Erika Christensen at the premiere but the text of the article text does not actualy mention it and the image caption does not mention it either. The alternative image description text says "Erika Christensen at the 'Cheaper By The Dozen' premiere held at El Capitan Theatre on March 16th, 2022 in Los Angeles, California." That is why the search showed me the article, but it does not make for a good reference when the relevant bit of information is hidden from most readers.

WP:Twitter references are not good but it seemed the best of the available options (I was not going to use a WP:FANSITE). -- 109.76.139.210 (talk) 14:13, 19 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
