Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... it provides information on an early pioneer in a specific beverage market that is relatively unknown. Leading Edge Brands has a Wikipedia page acknowledging their ownership of kist, but no background is provided. This page serves as a reference to that, and expands upon the drink industry in Chicago. The brand's vintage advertisements are commonly still seen (in antique stores and similar places) across the U.S., which may lead people to search for the company on Wikipedia for more information --Drh-19 (talk) 23:16, 22 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @Drh-19: -- I have removed the speedy tag; it looks like you recreated the article with it still in place? I agree that the current article is not A7-worthy, but more sources are urgently needed; generally a minimum of 2 or 3 different reliable independent sources is considered necessary to meet the general notability guideline.
