Incorrect Sources[edit]

The following source is used to say Dewan Mokham Chand was a Brahmin

1) Rediscovery of India, The: A New Subcontinent By Ansar Hussain Khan

https://www.google.co.in/books/edition/Rediscovery_of_India_The_A_New_Subcontin/CiklIzcTIYUC?hl=en&gbpv=1&dq=isbn:9788125015956&printsec=frontcover

At page 153, there is no mention of Mokham Chand, no mention of his caste. I have removed this source.

2) The second source used is Khushwant Singh A History Of The Sikhs Vol. 1, page 217. There is no mention of Mokham Chand being a Brahmin here. In fact, the source says "Mokham Chand, the most distinguished of the Darbar's generals was the son of Wisakhi Mal, a Khatri tradesman of the village Kunjah, near Gujrat. I have fixed this source and added relevant citations.
