Question[edit]

What does "what he considered a second dissertation" mean? Is what is meant here the normal Habilitationsschrift (in which case it IS a second dissertation) which this theologian would have written in order to take a post like any other German theologian? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.152.88.157 (talk) 21:03, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, according to the German Biographisch-bibliographisches Kirchenlexikon [1] it's his "Habilschrift". So I think I'll amend the article accordingly (by the way it was not I who wrote the original).Apodeictic (talk) 16:34, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Accuracy of dates[edit]

I was looking at the German Biographisch-bibliographisches Kirchenlexikon [2] (a fairly reputable source) and the dates there don't exactly match the dates here. Since it's a fairly reputable source and the information here is unsourced I think I'll amend this article to be in line with the dates in the BBKL entry.Apodeictic (talk) 16:34, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
