Krobo Mountain[edit]

The "action" of 1858 was something of an armed standoff, in a dispute over the British imposition of a poll tax. There were African forces involved on the British side. It is a bit unclear in the bits of sources that come up on Google Books. Given that Danquah is a surname not an ethnic group as such, the DNB original is a bit confusing for that "campaign". The only references Google turns up for "Krobo Heights" are this article and copies of it. Do we know that this battle even existed? Citation needed?Worldwalker (talk) 02:30, 20 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
