Krobo Mountain[edit]

The "action" of 1858 was something of an armed standoff, in a dispute over the British imposition of a poll tax. There were African forces involved on the British side. It is a bit unclear in the bits of sources that come up on Google Books. Given that Danquah is a surname not an ethnic group as such, the DNB original is a bit confusing for that "campaign". Apparently these colonial wars are not covered in the more general articles. Charles Matthews (talk) 19:48, 11 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The only references Google turns up for "Krobo Heights" are this article and copies of it. Do we know that this battle even existed? Citation needed?Worldwalker (talk) 02:30, 20 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
