Not all facts in this article are cited with a reference. There is a good amount but more is needed for verification. The most recent update on the band that referred to March 2017 is true but lacks references to back it up. As far as I am aware there is no missing information. The most recent update highlight the details of their tour which is currently happening. Carissagallardo (talk) 21:37, 1 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sexual assault allegations[edit]

An IP has removed the sexual assault allegations multiple times. After requesting an explanation, an edit summary was left remarking, "The statement regarding this matter is inflammatory and cyber bullying. It mentions no specifics regarding the allegation and implies that it is true with the mere statement. Please include the lprosecuto's final charging decision based on truth". [sic] It's important that we report the story neutrally and in a way that is not inflammatory, but the removed wording, I think, does so - it states that an allegation was made, which is not "the truth" about what happened between the two bandmembers, nor a legal determination of guilt. Taylor has responded and her response has been reported in the press (at [1]), and I think restoring the Altpress and adding this reference would put the event into better context. In any case, the justification for unilaterally removing it entirely (as "cyber bullying") is not tenable. Chubbles (talk) 19:59, 28 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

And restored again. The IP is now at 4RR and if they fail to bring their concerns to the Talk page as instructed and remove content again, they will be reported at WP:AN3. General Ization Talk 02:35, 29 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
We can address the IP's concerns by restoring the content and noting that the musicians involved were touring members. Chubbles (talk) 19:19, 29 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Also, the IP's most recent summary says Taylor called the accusations false, but that's not the case - as the Substream quote notes, she says it was a mischaracterization of a poking in the buttocks. ("It disgusts me that the true allegation is “poking her butt while you were asleep in the hotel bed” and the words being used, imply sexual assault.") If the IP wishes to discuss this in more detail, it's going to need to happen on the talk page. Chubbles (talk) 21:42, 29 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Follow-up to be added: Dropped from the Secondhand Serenade tour. [2] Chubbles (talk) 21:44, 29 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@General Ization: How long do I need to wait for a response here before starting work improving the article again (including restoring the removed information)? The IP seems to have no interest in talking anywhere other than in reversion edit summaries. Chubbles (talk) 23:49, 29 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I'd say you've already waited long enough. Just mind that you don't violate 3RR yourself. General Ization Talk 23:51, 29 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
What I want to avoid is the appearance of end-running around 3RR by waiting slightly longer than 24 hours and then reverting again; it seems like a bad-faith move, and 3RR prohibits it anyway. Chubbles (talk) 00:09, 30 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
So I was only at 1R, and went to 2R. General Ization Talk 00:13, 30 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, I guess that moves things right along! Chubbles (talk) 00:18, 30 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
