This article needs some judicious editing. "The first episode aired August 17, 2009, and has since aired six full seasons." makes absolutely NO sense whatsoever, unless the first episode has been airing for six years. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 47.16.113.255 (talk) 19:08, 12 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Redundancy?[edit]

WP has a dedicated compulsive hoarding article. Why not just link to it, rather than going into such detail about it here as well? (I won't presume to do such major editing myself, but I recommend it.) – AndyFielding (talk) 08:36, 5 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A friend of mine[edit]

I have a friend whose name is Sherry at her mother Jean. Sherry is in her late 50s and Jean is in her 80s, mother and daughter. She has lived in a 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath and me and mom have try to help her on multiple occasions. It's an endless cleaning job because it'll go back to the way it was within days. She has two fridges and one of them has rotten food in it. When my mother goes shopping for her it's a bunch of junk food even if she has a whole bunch still in her house. Sherry can never get enough of anything and constantly buys things online. Sherry lost it whenever she lost her husband. She has two obese cats living in her master bathroom. She had three dogs but all three died due to the living conditions of the house. As far as I know she has not been threatened by the city for the house to be condemned. It is a really beautiful house with a fireplace in a giant living room. You can't tell how big the house really is with all that junk in there. I would really like somebody to help her and hopefully she can keep the house cleaned up. Season 13 Episode 1[edit]

Why clean that ladies house? When she has filled up other peoples house and they have to stay in HER Horde full time like the vet? Poor dude couldn’t walk threw his own house because of her and yet your cleaning her house.
