Supervillains Category[edit]

I previously made an edit to the aforementioned category in which I added “The Exterminator”, a supervillain who appeared in the series both in season 1 and 2. He was also portrayed by Patton Oswalt, who is a fairly famous actor and I thought might be worth mentioning. However, I recently noticed that an editor had reverted my edit due to the villain being not recurring in the show. Which is why I had this talk category presented to discuss. Which leaves a few things that I want to discuss:

1. Technically, The Exterminator had appeared more than one time. In fact, he was one of the few “not important” supervillains to get to two seasons (you could even argue that he had even more notoriety, since he had a comic cardboard cutout of him displayed in The Domain). In addition, he had a slight role to play in Wallace and Clyde rehabilitation into the real world. That means he reoccurred in the series. So, if that is not defined as reoccurring in the eyes of editors, what is the specific definition and what are its qualifications to be noted on this list? 2. If he is not qualified as recurring, then why are there multiple one episode villains still in the category? If he can’t be on there then neither should them. 3. The Supervillains category had never been stated to be solely for recurring villans of the series. If so, we need to state that and call it “Recurring Supervillains” instead of the current. In addition, there’s also a small category for recurring characters on the show, so do we want to remove that category and put it somewhere else? Or add the notably recurring supervillains in that category?

I do not particularly care how it is specifically organized. I do think, shouldn’t we be making sure that this thing be accurate.

Sorry for the long statement about this. Kybrion (talk) 11:19, 20 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
