Season Pages?[edit]

I would make season pages for the series.... I'd rather start now than in season 2 or 3. I think I can google some more references and even improve the main article. We also should protect these pages from Vanalism.ChaosMaster16 (talk) 02:15, 30 June 2010 (UTC)ChaosMaster16[reply]

Unless you are going to expand the season page, like you did with the The Secret Life of the American Teenager season pages, separate season pages are not really necessary right now. At least wait until the end of the show's first season depending how long the text becomes. QuasyBoy (talk) 17:59, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Until we know the series will go past one season, there is no reason to start separating them. In fact, even if it does go beyond that, there's really no reason to separate them until this page becomes unmanageable. Even then we should still keep the tables here and have links to more detailed pages for the individual seasons (please see List of Avatar: The Last Airbender episodes, a featured list, and just one of many examples). --132 16:55, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Isn't it about time to add a season page for season 4, seeing as it premieres in just over a month?Chitinid (talk) 05:48, 30 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Proximity to a premiere date is actually irrelevant. What matters is the content of a season article. There needs to be a sufficient amount of production/casting information specific to the fourth season that can be included in an article before it is created. There isn't any. Technically speaking, none of the season articles for this show should exist, because none of them demonstrate sufficient notability. Breaking them up into season pages with so little actual information was jumping the gun majorly. If you want to create an article for season four, go ahead. Just make sure you've got a whole lot of information about the season itself to go in there, not just extended cast lists and an episode table. -- SchrutedIt08 (talk) 07:44, 30 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The 'season number' column (or now 'season episode') in the table (1 vs. 1.01)[edit]

OK, the back-and-forth numbering war has got to stop. Please discuss rather than just constantly changing to your "desired" version. In the past 3 days, there have been at least 13 reverts/changes!

Some input from a neutral observer (me): I have randomly looked at 10 featured list articles, and not one used the 1.01, 1.02, etc. designation. Although some of you may argue to invalidate that with an extension of the guideline WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS, I think it's different when the "other stuff" are featured articles. Regardless of my thoughts, please stop the reverting and discuss the issue. I really don’t care what you decide, but this is getting old. Thanks. --Logical Fuzz (talk) 15:10, 9 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the research, I didn't realize I was getting in the middle of a near-revert war ;) I work in TV and the 1.xx model is common/essential from a production standpoint, but if it is not the standard among FLs then we certainly should follow suit. Thanks again.— TAnthonyTalk 16:30, 9 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Christmas in Halloween??[edit]

Recent change [[1]] was as follows:

  • Original: "This will be the first holiday episode in the series in which the setting takes place around Christmas rather than Halloween."
  • New:"This will be the first Christmas episode in the series in which the setting takes place around December rather than Halloween."

The "new" change does not make sense gramatically as the initial has a comparison between holidays of Christmas and Halloween. New revision implies that Christmas episodes in the past took place around Halloween and have now been changed to December. I am reverting this change. Please either make the sentence make sense gramatically or discuss prior to making the change again. Rmosler | 01:36, 17 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
