Well... Either give me a source or they shall be deleted.

Episode Production Codes[edit]

Regarding the debate brewing over T.U.F.F. Puppy production codes, I'm in agreement with IP user 66.157.203.170, who has submitted production codes in the 121-126 range for Season 2 episodes. The trend for Nickelodeon season orders are for 26 half-hour episodes (Spongebob S6-S8, Fanboy S1-S2, Korra, Winx Club, Robot & Monster, etc.) How they ultimately decided to divide a season has no bearing on the actual production code numbers. If they've registered Lie Like A Dog/Cold Fish (for example) with the US Copyright Office as episode 126, I'd argue that it is absolutely reasonable to consider the production # of that episode to be 126, even if it is an ugly number to appear in a Season 2 episode table. Nick.com seems to refer internally to this episode as 126 on their own website: http://www.nick.com/videos/clip/tuff-puppy-126-lie-like-a-dog-caught-by-surprize-clip.html Further, I'm not sure what reference Ring2011 is using to justify enforcing production codes in the 201-209 range for the eps in question. Fanboy, for example, has a different production code for each 11-minute short, and their episode numbers seem to only slightly parallel their production numbers. So maybe there's another solution that can be worked out for T.U.F.F. Puppy? Maybe an Episode Number column? Would have to be supported by a reference, though. So I'm changing the production numbers back to the ones submitted by the IP user until a reasonable alternative can be made. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 03:04, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Future Airdates[edit]

Earlier, I reverted airdates submitted by Ring2011 for episodes of T.U.F.F. Puppy that occur in the future. Ring2011's contributions suggested that certain episodes of this show will air in September of 2012, almost 2 months from now. It's not clear which Wikipedia-friendly sources Ring2011 used to determine that this was a set-in-stone event, but as is explained in WP:CRYSTALBALL, Wikipedia isn't interested in speculation about future events unless they are "well documented." While I understand that everybody wants to get the scoop and submit data to Wikipedia first, speculation isn't the way to go, and Ring2011 has been admonished numerous times in the past to not submit airdates that occur in the future. I welcome your contrary dialogue. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 07:35, 11 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Dog House / Time Waits for No Mutt[edit]

The T.U.F.F. Puppy episode list on Wikipedia states it's air date is supposed to be sometime in September 2012. Yet TV.com states it aired on August 12, 2012. Someone needs to fix the mystery of this, because this is confusing. 09:48, 1 September 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.92.225.156 (talk)

Who screwed up the episode page?[edit]

The Season 2 section is in the External Links section. I'd do it, but the editing thing acts like the page is normal. I don't get this.--67.85.2.100 (talk) 17:06, 31 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Firstly, I appreciate that you are taking the time to run these changes by the community via the Talk Page. Thank you. Secondly, the information might be true, or it might not be. What is certainly true, is that Wikipedia is not TV Guide and that there is absolutely no deadline or hurry to make these changes. If it takes a year for this information to be properly sourced, so be it. Hastily assembled articles do not make Wikipedia better and stronger, and since the reliability of information is being contested, the burden falls on the person submitting it to provide a reliable source. Editors should not be in a race to publish airdates, or any other information, for that matter. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 03:29, 11 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
