I am interested in defining[edit]

exactly who belongs on this list. Although I am usually an inclusionist it appears to me that pretty much any modern (post 1980s - somewhat random date) country artist can be included since there is so much rock in modern country music. This makes this list (opinion) sort of meaningless. I'm going to see if anyone is actually watching this list before beginning to make changes. Actually, I believe that I will alphabetize it first. Well here we are, over two years later and I am going to start the process, removing acts that I consider to be just country music with just a rock flavor, starting with *Brooks and Dunn
