Talk:London Buses route 406

Wondering whether to WP:BRD and just redirect this page to List of bus routes in London? It's not all that notable for anything - the history section is purely extensions and changes of operator, the sort of thing which is covered on Fandom anyway (so basically it's Fancruft). Any objections, or should I just do it? Mattdaviesfsic (talk) 15:34, 5 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see how removing content benefits the wiki, and I don't think it's right to dismiss something someone was clearly passionate about as "fancruft"
I don't see how removing content benefits the wiki, and I don't think it's right to dismiss something someone was clearly passionate about as "fancruft". You could use that argument to dismiss anything you don't like. Garuda3 (talk) 17:24, 5 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
See this Fandom page - the content there is almost exactly the same structure and style as here, so I don't believe it really has any notability for an encyclopaedia beyond it existing. Mattdaviesfsic (talk) 18:00, 5 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
A topic being on another wiki isn't an identifier for if it's notable or not. I run a wiki, Coasterpedia, with some overlap with Wikipedia in terms of content but nobody would argue that roller coasters should be deleted from Wikipedia as a result. Garuda3 (talk) 18:03, 5 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
