Crossovers[edit]

Some people have a hard on for "crossovers", so they prematurely added idle speculation about the possibility of a crossover between Magnum PI and NCIS Hawaii. It's true that one of the people involved in making NCIS Hawaii expressed a desire to make a crossover, but wanting is not the same as actually doing.

For now, I'm saving the text here. In the event that a crossover actually happens, we can add it back -- along with evidence of a crossover ACTUALLY happening.

The potential for crossovers between Magnum P.I. and NCIS: Hawaiʻi has been noted by the media, though CBS has not announced any plans for one. The series were set in the same universe when NCIS: Los Angeles crossed over with Magnum P.I.'s sister series Hawaii Five-0 in 2011 and 2012.[1] NCIS: Hawaiʻi executive producer and showrunner Christopher Silber has said that he would be open to "any crossover that CBS will allow," while NCIS Hawaiʻi star Vanessa Lachey has also said that she would like to do a crossover.[2]

All edits are saved in the edit history so it can also be pulled from there. Your idea of how Wikipedia works is also wrong, the content stays until consensus is reached, at which point it can be removed if that is the decision. Now getting to the actual content: regardless of whether or not it will happen, the fact is that it is sourced. Given the fact that this series has had numerous crossovers with the past with Hawaii Five-0 a section on possible crossovers isn't that far out there. We mentioned a possible crossover with MacGyver in the previous season which will never happen now given that the series is cancelled. TheDoctorWho (talk) 15:20, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Many statements are sourced. "So and so said that he or she has dreams of doing something eventually one day." That is hot air until that person actually performs that activity. 136.49.32.166 (talk) 15:23, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I requested page protection, won't be making another edit to restore the STATUSQUO until that happens as to not edit war. I'll reply to the content discussion in a bit when I have more time. TheDoctorWho (talk) 15:27, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Again, wanting is not the same as doing. You are equally culpable of an edit war since you are the only one reverting me (the other editor reverted himself after reverting me). 136.49.32.166 (talk) 15:29, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Crossover characters are already mentioned in the main article, which links to Lenkov-verse in the lede; I don't see how a "Crossovers" section belongs in an article about this particular season, per WP:CRYSTAL. OhNoitsJamie Talk 15:35, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
