Is this entirely pop psych, or do reputable mental health practitioners recognize a "martyr complex" as a symptom or behavior? No hits for this on any of the usual medical websites--making me think that it's the former. Without references, this is deletion fodder. --EngineerScotty 23:42, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

I've heard it described as victim complex. Even if it is pop psych it's common enough to merit an article (which can be dubious of the claims) --Mbac 04/25/07 (too lazy to log in)
