Actually, Rukmini is an adoptive daughter (state law), but as Sukarno is Muslim and in Muslim law there is no family relationship between adoptive daughter to their adoptive father or mother. So, Rukmini is not really a daughter of Sukarno, therefore her son is not as well a grandson of Sukarno. One more thing, if Sukarno adopted Rukmini, which wife of Sukarno gave a consent for this adoption.
