Tapirus copei → Tapirus haysii – Recent sources consider Tapirus copei to be a junior synonym of Tapirus haysii, rather than the other way around [1] [2]. Hemiauchenia (talk) 20:12, 12 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Support. T. haysii was described in 1860, T. copei in 1945. There is no way T. haysii can be a synonym of T. copei. Plantdrew (talk) 16:32, 13 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
