In order to include claims (even indirectly) of racism, you absolutely need to include a source for the statements. You cannot make a comment and then take it out of context to say that it supports evidence of racism - especially when neither John Wyndham or The Midwich Cuckoos makes any such claim. Leaving such detail in - even though not in a BLP article, is a clear breach of BLP policies, and as such should not be included without reliable sourcing. Don't be stupid. The significance of the originals being Aryan Superman stereotypes is so obvious that anyone rejecting it has a closed mind.
But I have also found the monitors unhelpful in past cases, like claiming Tibet was annexed when it was always legally part of China.
If people want trash preserved and facts suppressed, I will not waste more time on it.
Up to someone else, if they care. GwydionM (talk) 07:25, 26 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Accusing a fellow editor of stupidity for adherence to WP:BLP says more about you than me, I think.
I also note - with some amusement, I have to confess - that the synopsis you consider "trash" appears to have either come from your own blog, or you saw fit to copy it to your own blog. Either way, you seem linked to the very trash you're trying to disparage.
Moot anyway, as the text in question is poorly written so I'm about to rewrite it. Chaheel Riens (talk) 08:19, 26 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
