Article Needs Some Improvement[edit]

Excited to read the Price is Right article, I was let down after reading the poor written and content lacking entry. I think this article needs to improve mainly on it's quantity of information of which it currently has very little. It does a terrible job conveying to the reader the cult classic the show has become. What is your take on the article???

You're right. I came here because I couldn't remember the name of the announcer that Bob Barker had, and found it wasn't here. No mention of Barker's Beauties, the announcer, the sexual harassment thing, Bob Barker's use of the show to promote spaying and neutering, etc. Maijstral 06:30, 4 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Since this article is an overview of the franchise in general, perhaps it should be retitled "The Price Is Right (franchise)", in order to eliminate confusion for those looking for the article for a specific version of the show (i.e. The Price Is Right (U.S. game show)). Special Episode that aired in the Spring or Summer of 2014[edit]

EIther in May or June of 2014, there was a unique episode of TPIR that aired. The on-air episode was normal, but there was a behind the scenes special that ran concurrently with the episode that was airing giving the viewer an interesting perspective as to what went on as the show progressed. I would like to see this added to the article, but since I don't remember the date it aired, I'm reluctant to add this. Does anyone have the date it aired? This would be better suited for The Price Is Right (U.S. game show). However, one-off special episodes or episodes featuring a specific theme are not discussed in great detail. AldezD (talk) 13:27, 22 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

– The Bob Barker/Drew Carey series has the most long-term notability and receives a majority of the pageviews; a justified primary topic.
