Mayday Riots[edit]

The year originally referenced as inspiring the song - 2001 - is incorrect. It was actually the riots in 2000 that inspired Time For Heroes, as referenced by Doherty (writing under his username Heavyhorse) on The Libertines web forum in 2003. why does it is it came near the strokes last nite and then later in at number 6 in the NME indie athems list?
